Breakfast conversations matter more than we think.

Some of the most meaningful relational moments happen over coffee before class, before work, before the day gets busy.

As MFT students, we study systems, attachment, and communication, but it always starts with something simple: showing up.

What’s one small way you’re showing up for your relationships this week?

Here are a few ideas to consider:
• Put your phone down during a conversation 📱
• Ask one deeper follow-up question🙋
• Offer encouragement without being asked
• Repair quickly after a misunderstanding ❤️‍🩹
• Schedule intentional time with someone who matters

Our on-campus Marriage & Family Therapy graduate students completed a Mental Health First Aid training! ⛑️

Like CPR for mental health, this training equips them with tools to de-escalate crises, offer initial support, and connect people with the help they need.
