Part of the process in reaching our goals, is enjoying the journey that God has given us. This is where the fun begins. Being present and living this moment right now is my happy place.

My baby got a pick six / interception and touchdown, mama went crazy. While also listening to my other baby playing his game in Minnesota. I’m a total boy mom and love my college football Saturdays.

Pssst…oye, mi bella gente, this mamacita has been busy. God is so good…🙏🏽

Pues mira, this past week, the amazing film IMAGO, written and directed by Ariel Zengotita @zengojira screened at the @nylatinofilmfestival

I love this festival porque soy Boricua made, BX raised, and it speaks to my heart. I would’ve loved, loved, loved to be there celebrating with our super talented cast, writer/director, production team, fellow artists, and my NY family and friends.

Pero, I couldn’t attend porque I was in Phoenix shooting a new commercial campaign…🎭🎬 Y como decimos…work begets work. 🎭🎬🎞️ It’s a blessing to be working doing what I love.

I can’t share details about the campaign yet, but I had a blast, met some wonderful people, and worked with an amazing team. Waiting for the green light to share more.

Entonces que pasa, I was supposed to fly home hoy, Sunday, but both my boys had football games. By God’s grace, I was able to change my flight, to get home Saturday night, I wasn’t able to go see Douglas game porque estaba muy lejos, but I surprised Adan at his game. Bendito, he thought nobody would be there, then he spotted his loud mama in the bright green colors gritando his name. 💚 The look on his face was priceless. 🫶🫶🫶

In the words of Hamilton…working moms, we get the job done! 🎬✈️🏈

Y mira, Shhhhh…another NY film festival may be on the horizon…🤫

Vamo a ver…stay tuned. 😉

My line sister, my #2, mi hermana. We have been through it ALL together, and someone I can lean on, literally. 🩷💚

I am so incredibly proud of the woman she is and all that she has accomplished. One of the many precious bonds besides our sisterhood, is our shared love for God.

@patriciahewlin has her book available now. I got mine… did you get yours?

Staying True to You by Patricia Faison Hewlin, Ph.D.

So proud of you, sands.

Colossians 3:23
A 10/10 review from Film Threat for DEI…I’m so incredibly happy for our brilliant writer/director Jill V. Dae and our entire cast and crew to receive a wonderful recognition of artistry. So grateful to be a part of it. 🫶🏽💚

Grateful to also have shared the screen @hollyshorts film festival alongside so many powerful and thought provoking films of my fellow artists, filmmakers and all involved in the making and bringing these wonderful stories to life.

Psalm 126:3
It was such a joy to reunite with our @dei.gov.film cast, crew , the entire production and celebrate how well the film was received with our brilliant writer, director @jillvdae

And so blessed to have had my dear friends and fellow artists who came out to support me, the film, and the artistic work of all the films shown, thank you fam. Having you there brought me so much joy.

Ecclesiastes 3:12,13
We spend so much of our lives as artists doing the work the auditions, the preparation, the long days on set, and everything in between. so every once in a while it’s fun to play dress up, walk the carpet, celebrate one another, and enjoy the moment.

I’m excited to share that @dei.gov.film has been selected to premiere at the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival!

I’m so grateful to have been casted and taken part of this important film, portraying a mother whose strength is tested in ways no family should ever experience. It’s a story that invites empathy, and conversation and I’ll leave the rest for you to see it on the big screen.

I extend a humble and heartfelt thank you to the incredibly talented writer/director @jillvdae and producer @anirudh.pisharody and the entire phenomenal cast and crew for trusting me to help move the story forward. It was my honor to work with all you and I look forward to seeing you again. Congratulations!!!
