Xen Model is an electronic music duo originating from Los Angeles. Fusing futuristic beats with cutting-edge soundscapes, the LA-native pair creates a distinct sound within the realms of dance and left-field club music.

Peer to Peer/Dj Smog has been producing and playing original music influenced by the diverse sonic landscape of LA. His sounds flow and mix through ambient, pop, shoegaze, club, and idm aesthetics for a truly unique journey of cerebral grooves and textures.

Airball is a Los Angeles based producer and dj who plays a saturated blend of techno, tribal, and trance. He is also one half of electronic duo Ice Wall and a co-founding member of PERP.

Yeah You! is back with its yearly summer bash at Blue Velvet, with daytime wubs n dubs blasted outside via Sound Source Systems, followed by nighttime club meets dub session (and dnb duh) inside for those with a love of the nocturne, for the hot footed junglists. From solar to lunar, speaker to speaker.

Ring the alarm; with local crew and guests from continents afar descending on the former swingers club. Cousin (from Sydney) will confirm that a wub can be a hug, Adam O (a rat from LA) will prove why PRANKS are his game, and Ophélie will put a special twist to ur bass face.

Witness the 20th edition of PRANKS! as disgust and waste take revenge on the littered and misbehaved. The freaky forest plots it’s sonic digest by deploying it’s secret weapon, GARBAGE PIZZA. Can the pranksters be saved? 🗑️ 🤨

There was only one act to we could shout for help, FOODMAN! (@tyousinkai)After cooking us a hardware infused, percussion filled, genre bending main course at Bacon in Okubo for PRANKS! Vol.9, we have since been working very hard on inviting him to dinner in our home here in Los Angeles. 🍽️

In addition, we have invited a long and overdue guest CFCF (@cfcfmusic) to bake and instill the his memory into our dreams. 🎂🛌✨

been spending a lot of the year thinking about opening slots, maybe a little bit too much. In recent times going turbo from the start to finish has taken fashion. With our restrictions on the west coast there is a logic to it— get everything in as quick as possible. Our timetables take the freeway rather than surface streets.

These days I’ve taken a liking to what I’ve calling “bad” music. In a sense it isn’t really the right word, but there is something so interesting about the back side of a record/ the alternative end of a single. The room left lends the ability to shoot for something a bit different— an unfinished edge, odd choices, or a sketch like quality

Anyways, in the rare occasion that I play a party that I am not throwing I am happy to prepare an assemblage of sketches, drafts, ‘slightly annoying’ (my favorite tag), b sides in hopes with leaving you with a cliffhanger

anyways that was long winded, but I’m looking forward to it
