PERPVA001 Arising from underneath highway overpasses, crawling out of abandoned tunnels, emerging from foggy warehouses. . . VA001 manifests a focused rendering of LA’s DIY landscape, spawned from relationships formed through the mesh of encounters synonymous with the city’s underground scene. From smoking on crowded sidewalks of club nights constructed hours before, to stumbling through the forest towards a renegade, listening for the sound of balloons inflating like a north star. . . PERP aims to trace an outline of a scene that is essentially traceless. Conjured from this urban sprawl, PERP’s debut compilation brings together 11 feverish, dance floor-ready tracks, highlighting unique production from a line up of Los Angeles artists. – sysk Tracklist 01 Xen Model – TEK 02 Maude Vôs – Pheromones on Fleek 03 Airball – Plug 04 Ice Wall – Tweaker 05 DJ Smog – They Know 06 dj toy – the fog 07 22 – thowed 08 sysk – Info Dub 09 Immortal Nightbody - came here alone 10 Morb – Life 11 Iris Ipsum – Tend Bandcamp, SoundCloud, YouTube links in bio for streaming and download Mastering by @hutzler Mastering on ‘Pheromones on Fleek’ by @danny_goliger Mixing on ‘They Know’ by @someonesayspider Artwork by @_efficka

Fear & loathing surrounded by star spangled spammers. Big love to my american crush/nemesis @adam.o___ for making somewhere as degraded as LA into somewhere for community and mischief. Long live @not.pranks !!! Big love to my fellow troubadour @mr.cocooon for the endless journey, and our return to a coastal hippy bum hideaway where the boo & baa began. Playing ‘die hippie die’ never felt so good. Also huge shouts to @jacksonstone for our deranged vegas adventure and getting me to where i needed to be, spiritually and physically. Forever fiending aloha. An eternal nod also to @olright.mp3 for taking us in on the compound, I’ll treasure the trampoline home u made me. Big love to @deep_creep for hosting me in the big apple, helping me fall back in love with the metropolis and taking me on the lifelong dream of the cyclone 🎢 clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right x
