I am officially 41 years old!!! Man, what a year… I learned so many lessons in my 40th year around the sun. The most important was this: Never stop being the little man pictured above. The one that enjoys dressing up extra crispy - that loves to entertain people and make them smile. The one that chases his dreams and passions with everything he’s made of. And, most importantly completely sober(7 months). I spend plenty of my life trying to be someone else, but…. Adam Coleman Jackson is a Bad Man 😎! I think I stick with being him for the rest of my life 🤲🏿. Thank you to everyone who reached out an showed love and appreciation for your boy. I have family everywhere. God is Good! Forever meditating rhythmically and harmonically, Your guy Jaks #fortyone #yourcraftisyours #takecare #onyoursquare #rhythmicmeditation by @adam_c_jackson

#rhythmicmeditation This little practice kit - in my hotel room. Its a symbol of my current daily life at the moment. My place of joy, reflection….. my mirror and accountability. I’ve spent so much time alone these past nearly 2 years - in muted target practice, learning more about ADAM JACKSON every day. All the flaws…all the inconsistencies…. Just, in the #shed. Chipping at the block, realizing Discipline is my hedge of protection. The shed is my forge, and the sticks and brushes are my hammers. Grateful daily for my wife, and our family… but when I can’t be home(which is most often) THE CRAFT is always there to welcome me - to make me a better, more focused man first. And entertainer second.

It’s been a while y’all. So much has happened in the last year. Been playing the @thepinkyring in Vegas, teaching and mentoring young drummers….. and I have a cymbal endorsement with the amazing @bosphoruscymbals!! Grateful to be a part of a company that is from the motherland of bronze, and makes some of the very best instruments you can play any style of music with. It’s been an amazing experience since I signed the dotted line. Thank you to by big bro @emanuelharrold for connecting us, my rep Mehmet for always holding me down, and the entire fam for already making me perfect instruments for my touch and sonic preferences. Feeling EXTRA blessed!! #bosphoruscymbals #thebestbronze #playbosphorus #blessed #family by @adam_c_jackson

Another trip around the sun. God is good!

39…… every year it becomes clearer to me the importance of serving others, being present and living a life of dedication to my craft. Much gratitude to my amazing wife and family, the folks who continue to trust me with their music, the students that allow me to guide them, and the friends that keep me laughing and shedding…. I will continue to meditate in rhythm, and share my craft with the hope of helping y’all continue to love and refine what you do 💚&✊🏿.
