If you were at Embrace yesterday for the start of our Into the Fields series, you heard some very exciting news: we’ve secured a purchase agreement for land at the southeast corner of Madison Street and Veterans Parkway! 🙏🏻🙌🏻🎉

The plan is to build a new broadcast campus on the site, our largest campus yet, with seating for more than 1,400 people and room to reach even more in the years ahead!

We’re just beginning this journey to build another campus and we’re trusting God every step of the way. Would you join us in praying for this new campus, the funds needed, and for all the people we’ll have the opportunity to impact as we continue relentlessly reaching the next person for Jesus? 🙏 by @adamaweber

This coming Sunday we’re celebrating @iamembrace’s 20th Birthday!

I have so many emotions thinking about it: deep gratitude, total awe, some heartache 😅, & great joy! 😊🎉

Our story summed up: only God!

In this picture, it’s gotta be early 2008. I’m announcing that we’re starting weekly services.

My office the first 3 years of Embrace. My 1993 Chevy Cavalier. I got it from a high school kid, his parents were getting him a new car for college. #humbling I’d work in this car for hours or sit at Caribou on Minnesota Ave.

My next office was a small closet with no windows. I thought I had made it! 😎

We’d set up a booth downtown Sioux Falls at car shows and other bigger events. Anything to get the word out! The first 3 years, we were almost closed multiple times. Multiple times = often! I still can’t believe we survived.

My whole family has given so much to this church, but particularly these two, @becweber & @hudsonrweber! They’ve seen the good, bad, & otherwise. Yet they both still love Jesus and Embrace! When I think about, it’s honestly a miracle and the faithfulness of the Lord.

The people. What makes Embrace the church that it is? Jesus and the people! There are SO many dear friends, people like the Strandes & Hauerts who have served, loved, sacrificed, shown up, & given. The church they started attending 20 years ago has the same heartbeat yet SO much else has changed. I thank God for the people of Embrace. I love each of you dearly!

“Staff” isn’t the right word. Dear brothers and sisters that I’ve gotten to work and be on this journey with. People like @traviswaltner that I’ll never be able to repay and so many others. They are the reason Embrace is the church it is, not me!

My family. Over the last 20 years, this crew has been there every step of the way! So many great memories. I’ve gotten to serve, celebrate, & grieve with each of them. Great days and also some really hard ones. Over these 20 years, if God has impacted your life in any way through me, you can thank them. ❤️ Lord, thank you for my family!

It’s hard to believe @iamembrace is turning 20 this Friday! Today the team encouraged and prayed over me at all staff. Endlessly thankful! 🙏🏻

Over the 20 years of Embrace, if there’s one area that I’m particularly insecure about or I feel like I’ve failed in many times… it’s being a great leader to the staff team.

Thankfully God promises to grow, refine, & equip all of us, including me.

Over the years, I’ve been blessed to work with so many amazing people. But I’ve never loved the team more than I do right now. Amazingly talented, even better humans!

This team and the people of Embrace is what makes this church what it is. Not me!

Thank you Lord. 🙌🏻
