It is possible. Marriage takes work, and we don’t always get things right, but it will be worth the effort we put into it. I can say after 20+ years of marriage that we still enjoy each other’s company. There isn’t anyone else I would want to do it with.❤️ by @becweber

Thanking the Lord today for the 4 people I get to call my kids. I would have never dreamed I would have such great kids, and that I would have 4!🙈 My world doesn’t revolve around them, but I am grateful I get to be their mom. I would do anything for them.

You will never be able to dream up the plans Jesus has for you. He is so much better at planning our lives than we are. You can trust him.❤️ by @becweber

I heard the best illustration today about the importance of how we use our words. Imagine when you throw a pebble how the ripples that it creates when it hits the water. The ripples start out small, but continue to get bigger as they move outward. Soon they have moved so far out that you can’t even see them anymore. The same thing could be said about our words.

We have the power create a ripple effect with our words. We can choose to use our words in a positive or negative way. However we choose to use them, it ends up affecting one person, then that person will use their words to affect someone else, and so on. We have no idea how far our words can reach. We have the ability to change one person’s day in a good or bad way, and make an impact far beyond what we can imagine.

This coming Sunday we’re celebrating @iamembrace’s 20th Birthday!

I have so many emotions thinking about it: deep gratitude, total awe, some heartache 😅, & great joy! 😊🎉

Our story summed up: only God!

In this picture, it’s gotta be early 2008. I’m announcing that we’re starting weekly services.

My office the first 3 years of Embrace. My 1993 Chevy Cavalier. I got it from a high school kid, his parents were getting him a new car for college. #humbling I’d work in this car for hours or sit at Caribou on Minnesota Ave.

My next office was a small closet with no windows. I thought I had made it! 😎

We’d set up a booth downtown Sioux Falls at car shows and other bigger events. Anything to get the word out! The first 3 years, we were almost closed multiple times. Multiple times = often! I still can’t believe we survived.

My whole family has given so much to this church, but particularly these two, @becweber & @hudsonrweber! They’ve seen the good, bad, & otherwise. Yet they both still love Jesus and Embrace! When I think about, it’s honestly a miracle and the faithfulness of the Lord.

The people. What makes Embrace the church that it is? Jesus and the people! There are SO many dear friends, people like the Strandes & Hauerts who have served, loved, sacrificed, shown up, & given. The church they started attending 20 years ago has the same heartbeat yet SO much else has changed. I thank God for the people of Embrace. I love each of you dearly!

“Staff” isn’t the right word. Dear brothers and sisters that I’ve gotten to work and be on this journey with. People like @traviswaltner that I’ll never be able to repay and so many others. They are the reason Embrace is the church it is, not me!

My family. Over the last 20 years, this crew has been there every step of the way! So many great memories. I’ve gotten to serve, celebrate, & grieve with each of them. Great days and also some really hard ones. Over these 20 years, if God has impacted your life in any way through me, you can thank them. ❤️ Lord, thank you for my family!
