“There is nothing that I wouldn’t do…to make you feel my love”. This lyric sums up the heart of Jesus for me, it’s the power of Divine Love and it is frankly unconquerable. Here Aidah is helping me with the final edits for our live album “Nights At The Big House”. I will never regret raising my kids surrounded by the sound of unadulterated praise and worship of the Living God…it is their ultimate inheritance that I can pass on to them. by @adamcates

We have been broken in more places than I can count, and healed in even more.
You’re still the wisest man I know.
The first person I wanna talk to.
The only one I really like to hang out with.
The one who’s taught me the most about who God really is……and who he’s not.
The one that makes me laugh the hardest…..and probably cry the hardest too.
I hate so many things about you but have never loved somebody more.
Who would I be without all your gentle and angry rebukes….
And I literally can’t imagine where I’d be without all of the years of grace.
May we all learn to love like you @adamcates
Be kind like you.
Apologize like you.
Not make a name for yourself like you.
See the deeper things of the Kingdom like you.
Admit when we’re wrong like you.

Remembering can be a vital key to generating forward momentum. David used this key many times throughout the Psalms when he was in dire straits. Remember the faithfulness of God who delivered you through prior adversity and opposition. Jesus himself used the word “remembrance” with his closest companions around the table at what we today call “The Last Supper”. Ironically, Jesus would be broiling some fresh fish for his friends over a shoreline campfire just a few weeks later. But “Anamnesis” or “remembrance” takes the power of a past moment and pulls it forward to apply in the present. This is why there is true kingdom power available to us at the Lord’s Table. In this photo of my wife and I from years ago I can remember so many things. This was a very sweet and full season for us and we were graced with extraordinary energy to meet the fullness of the challenges of that season. As I remember how God met us and walked with us in the past my spirit is stirred with fresh faith for how He can and will meet us in the needs of today. So whatever hardship is confronting you today, you can be assured that the same grace and strength that has brought you through thus far is at hand to assist you now. Access it by faith…Believe Now…Believe Today 🙏🏼🙌🏼 by @adamcates

My kids have all seen me at the top of my game and they’ve witnessed me in my deepest valley. They are actually quite intuitive; they can differentiate between the pains I’ve caused myself and the wounds inflicted by others. My prayer is that they can put what they’ve learned to good use for their own futures and families. My aim is to give them hope and courage by watching their own dad overcome adversity and keep steadfast to the way of the cross…the way of true love. This Is The Way 🙏🏼 by @adamcates
