I’m happy to work hard. I’m not happy to put living on hold.

I used to make my living on stage. Now I’m building AI businesses. Not exactly a predictable career path, but I’ve never believed the first thing you become has to be the last.

With Worldie, we’re helping businesses use AI to work smarter. With Linarion, we’re building a way for people to capture their lives and stories in their own words. Things I’m genuinely excited to get up and work on.

And I want to do that somewhere I actually want to wake up.

For me, that’s Marbella. Living where others come on holiday, good people around me, and being able to close the laptop and go and enjoy it.

Still got deadlines. Just better weather. 😂

There’s plenty of graft behind these photos. I’m still building, still learning and still figuring things out. But I don’t want to keep moving the goalposts and telling myself I’ll enjoy life once the next thing is done.

The businesses matter to me. So do the dinners with friends, the days out and a couple of beers watching the sunset with someone I love. I want room for all of it.

You’re allowed to change direction. Change careers. Change where you live. Want something different from what you wanted ten years ago.

You don’t have to want my version of a good life. That’s the whole point.

Life gets busy very quickly.

Work. Plans. Responsibilities. The endless “I’ll do it later.”

But later isn’t guaranteed.

Travel when you can. Get outside. See more. Spend time with the people you love. Make the memories while you’re actually here to make them.

Work hard, absolutely.

Just don’t get so busy building a life that you forget to live it.

Stop collecting AI tools

There seems to be a new AI tool every five fucking minutes.

You don’t need all of them.

I work with this stuff every day and I’m far more interested in what problem we’re solving than how many tools we can throw at it.

One system that genuinely saves you time is worth more than 20 subscriptions you barely use.

You build something. Test it. Realise part of it is shit. Change it. Learn something. Go again.

That’s not failure.

That’s building.

The dangerous bit isn’t changing your mind.

Where I’d actually start with AI

Everyone wants to know which AI tools they should be using.

I’d start somewhere much less exciting.

What wastes your time every single week?

The repetitive jobs.
The copying and pasting.
The chasing.
The admin everyone hates.

Start fixing those.

AI doesn’t need to look impressive.
