What a beautiful day celebrating inclusion, accessibility, and community! 🌊

OC Coastkeeper was proud to join Waves of Ability, an @adaptivefreedomfoundation event that brought people of all abilities together for a day filled with wellness, adapted interactive activities, and more.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, learned about our beach wheelchairs, painted a shell, learned about beach accessibility!

💙 First time paddle boarding! 🏄‍♀️✨

What an amazing first experience for Kamila! She had such a wonderful time getting out on the water, trying something new, and making beautiful memories. 💕🌊

A huge THANK YOU to all the incredible volunteers and everyone at @adaptivefreedomfoundation for making this experience possible! 🙏💙 And thank you @waves_of_ability for putting together such an amazing event and creating opportunities for everyone to enjoy the water. 🌊✨

Waves of Ability is about so much more than one event — it’s about bringing together incredible people and organizations who believe in inclusion, connection, and creating more opportunities for everyone. 🌊💙

A huge thank you to Niko, a @triumphfoundation ambassador, for coming out to Waves of Ability and hosting pickleball with us! 🏓♿️

We snapped this photo together at the Therapeutic Riding Center HB booth — another amazing organization that joined us for the day and helped show just how many different ways adaptive recreation, connection, and community can change lives. 🐴💙

We loved watching Niko make his way around the event, meeting the incredible groups and vendors who helped bring Waves of Ability to life.

And to every adaptive sports organization, wellness provider, community partner, vendor, volunteer, performer, sponsor, and supporter who showed up — THANK YOU. This day was special because all of you brought your own piece of the community together in one place.

That’s what Waves of Ability is all about:

It's a doggy-dog world

Showed up to support @triumphfoundation and @waves_of_ability @adaptivefreedomfoundation
For the Long Beach Sports Festival

Met up with @occoastkeeper who is looking to enhance beach accessibility by providing beach wheelchairs up and down the California Coast.

Saw the @inclusivecorecollective clothing line drop offering alt/rock/punk clothing for our community.

The @trchb if offering a new location for adaptive horseback riding with trained staff to accommodate those with disabilities.

@corkycarrollssurfschool services the Huntington Beach community with surfing and boogie boarding lessons for all!

Defending champions @lakingssledhockey was there with the opportunity to check out the sled and hockey sticks that helped them win their title.

And of course my boi Jacob who I played against with/against multiple times and @mjrlakers and @socal_adaptive_sports for their boccia program that is looking to make a statement at the LA28 Paralympic Games .
