YO GIRL IS CERTIFIED!

This past weekend I had my graduation from culinary school. These past 4 months have been the longest of my life, but the most rewarding! I beyond grateful to all of my chefs who have given me such great advice/support. And to my family and friends who are my rocks! Cheers to Chef Addie 🥂!

note: my mom picked out orange roses for my grad flowers. little did she know those are the same flowers my nana had in her wedding bouquet. i knew it was a little sign from the queen of kitchen herself that she was supporting me from the clouds 🤍 by @adds_kitchen

i have found my new favorite thing which is called a “focaccia garden”! basically it is fresh veggies/fruits to decorate your blank dough. obsessed with how my garlic & herb “cherry” bomb turned out! by @adds_kitchen

it’s been a hot minute since i posted. i have a little over a month left of culinary school and i’m so sad to go! i have learned so much (i mean duh) and i’m excited to keep growing in this industry. but i am PUMPED to finally go head first into this business and create the thing i have been dreaming of 👩‍🍳

i’m officially in culinary school!

to most of you in my life i know this is such a shock. believe me, it is for me too. but this year i really wanted to stop wasting time and start following the dreams i’ve run away from!

i’m hoping this will inspire me to post more on this account, but i’m still working my daytime job and going to school at nights so my exhaustion level is through the roof!

but in reality, i’m so grateful to be a student at park city culinary. and the amount of support i’ve received so far has been amazing. i’m blessed with the best fam + friends 🩷

from box to scratch, brownies are a staple in the dessert world!

my coworker was having a hard week so i decided to make him something. when i asked him his favorite dessert he said “just a plain brownie”

knowing me… i had to make the brownie have a little bit more pizazz. so i made brown butter and used a more “expensive” chocolate.

got the “best brownie ever made” award from my coworker and the pan was gone in less than an hour from my family. i would say a successful day in the kitchen!

my nutella strawberry cream puffs are always a crowd pleaser 🍫🍓

my mom for mother’s day asked me this year to make her cream puffs… even though i am a week late, i always deliver one way or another

baking will forever be my love language 💓

after baking for 6 hours today, i felt so calm. i get into the zone. my true happy place.

the feeling i get when people try my food and love it. that makes me more than happy. knowing that they love something i took time and attention to. words can’t describe.

if you ever get a sweet treat from me, know that i love you. and even if you don’t, tell me your fav treat!

okay well it’s 12:45 at night so i might as well go to bed so i can serve these cinnamon rolls tomorrow. love you all!

my name is addie! i’m a 19 year old girl from utah who has a passion for all things food. i’ve been baking and cooking all my life but recently have been diving into new recipes that i want to share and hopefully get some from you!
