We are SO excited to share that our one-of-a-kind, immersive production of Shakespeare Dice: As You Like It has been chosen to be filmed & documented for Historical Preservation by the National Library of Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🎥

🎲In our original Dice format, a virtuosic ensemble of actors memorizes the entire script of a classical text and the roles are randomized at the start of each performance. What happens next is live theater without a safety net.

For this show, in addition to the roles, the scenes will be re-shuffled into a random order each night, and the audience will be thrown into the achey breaky heart of the action in this topsy-turvy remix🤠

We run at @venue13fringe until Aug 23rd at 17:45!

Life keeps blowing me away recently! 🍃ヽ((◎д◎))ゝ a FULL 90s reel is so much to ask for these days (😮‍💨) but watch to the end to see a lil part of my child-adele heal and... some unintended cleave 🤦🏻‍♀️😂💖

Yesterday morning was spent at @studio13onfox for a quick interview for @sct_seattle (more on that to come!), where we met the generous, talented and warm ✨ Tony Vincente ✨, founder & designer of Rossario George, and there was so. much. LOVE!!

God, I love being surprised by the goodness of humanity & warmth-igniting people I have never met before and will probably never meet again. There's been so much of that lately, I'm loathe not to savor each interaction when I have the space to.

Tony, if you see this, sending you so much love, friend! Cheers to your mission of making the world a more beautiful place to exist in, and wishing you success as sweet as the honeycombs that have inspired your latest designs. 🥂💖🐝✨

OH AND I forgot to mention in the reel:
The reason Tony had these palettes on hand to so generously gift us, is because Rossario George releases eye shadow palettes that MATCH THEIR CURRENT SEASON'S FITS. What?? Amazing. Incredible. Slick. Genius. Functional. And that pigment?? Mind blown.

I promise I have a plan (sort of) to back post about all the happenings of the last 4 months!! 🙇🏻‍♀️ In the meantime, please enjoy me ✨ struggling ✨ to comprehend how the heck I'm supposed to hold a mic while aCtiNg 🥲😭

Big love & thanks to Jordyn for facilitating this recital for all your students!! @jordyyndayy @jdvoxstudio I didn't expect to be so moved to see all these young artists at so many different stages of their performing journeys braving the wilderness of a live audience 🥹💞 so inspired by everyone's courage & talent! 😤🥰

Can't post the full song cuz uh, reels. Part two maybe?? How do the kids do it these days?? Also shout-out to my love for this bootleg 😂💞

threw away your 💌💫 | cover of "session 32" by summer walker

promise I like to sing stuff outside musical theater! this is actually much closer to what I started out singing, though it feels harder to access now (´ . .̫ . `) normally for covers where I can accompany myself on guitar, I sing while playing, but for this I had to record separately - that's how hard I had to concentrate on staying locked in & not switching to my more presentational MT sound HAHA.

I remember how long it took me to get the guitar part down rhythmically four/five years ago, feels so good to come back to it now ｡◕‿◕｡ also also, I can't believe how comfortable I am now with how I sound naturally - I found a video of me covering this exact song a little over a year ago & it was kicked up several steps & I was obviously modifying my voice to sound... cuter...? more acceptably femme? commercial? ಠಿ_ಠ if you're seeing this Jordyn, thank you for your monumental help getting me here ♡♡

anyway! wanted to share a different part of my voice, hope I'm making lil Adele proud ♡(・–・;)ゞ

It's been a week since we closed and I'm still speechless. Simply can't capture how wonderful the people were and how magical the process was, you had to be there.

Thank you thank you thank you again to everyone who came out to see & support the show, it meant so much! 🖤

To everyone in the show - production, cast, orchestra, crew - I'm missing you guys something fierce (😝😭), you deserve everything, and I hope I'm lucky enough to work with you all again someday! 🖤
