2026 Coach Goffman’s Alumni Game🏀

Every year I leave this event thinking it can’t possibly get any better… and every year it somehow does.

This year’s Alumni Game may have been the best one yet. It may also have been the last.

As I prepare to close a chapter that began at Mott Hall in 2011 and begin a new journey on the West Coast, I’m feeling a lot of emotions, but above all else, gratitude.

I grew up at Mott Hall. Watching former students return to the gym as adults, pursuing careers, raising families, serving their communities, and building their lives is one of the greatest rewards I could ever ask for as an educator and coach.

Every student-athlete who came through our program left a lasting impression on me. The wins, losses, practices, subway & bus rides, championships, and unforgettable moments are memories I will carry with me forever.

To everyone who ever walked through those gym doors at Mott Hall…thank you. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey. You have made me feel like I truly have done some good in my life.

No matter where life takes me, a piece of my heart will always remain in Mott Hall.

Until the next Alumni Game…🙏🏻❤️ taken in Science And Technology Academy: A Mott Hall Schoo by @adgoffman

Marina football took on Northwood last Friday night for their Greatest Showman homecoming game. With energy from cheer, dance, band, and the student section, the Vikings sailed through to a 25-14 victory.💙💛 Way to go, Vikes!🏈

Shout out to Marina’s Marine Corps JROTC for conducting their first Color Guard Ceremony before the game!🤩
