Good luck to Marina alumna and current Golden State Valkyries head coach Natalie Nakase as her team continues on in the WNBA Finals!🏀 The Valkyries are currently 1-1 in the 7-game series. Natalie’s leadership has been inspirational, not only as a player at Marina and then at UCLA, but also throughout her journey as a head coach in Japan’s professional men’s league, as an assistant with the LA Clippers and Las Vegas Aces, and now as head coach with the Golden State Valkyries. Natalie’s jersey number is also proudly retired in Marina’s Larry Doyle Gymnasium. We’re always cheering you on, Natalie, and best of luck to the Valkyries!🤗💜
