At only 4 years old, Timmy has been through some shit and has the scars to prove it. The black scar on his nose and the TNR notch on his right ear (hard to see in this photo) are like tattoos to prove his kitten life on the streets. Abandoned by his original human counterparts after already chipping him, he struggled with open wounds from the itchiness of food allergies. He eventually wound up at the Denver Animal Shelter, where he was ready to make the jailbreak of the century, when he decided to give me a chance. Nowadays, Timmy spends his days loungin' in his condo, rollin' out scuits, and dabbin' the nip. I know I'm jealous. by @adjustableplaid

I've been chillin with these floofy villains the past week. they are great company up in the mountains where it's quiet. I also got video of the younger female, Kimber, howling with some coyotes in the distance. I'll post the video shortly in my reels. taken in Bailey, Colorado by @adjustableplaid

Holy fuck! It just dawned on me (after going through an entire week of new employee orientation) that I've just landed the coolest job that I would have NEVER imagined in my entire life. (DO NOT FUCK THIS UP, MICHAEL!) by @adjustableplaid

Big brother is running around with the other dogs and this little guy can't keep up. So exhausted in this smokey heat. taken in Longmont, Colorado by @adjustableplaid

Yesterday, the Alexander Fire started 16 miles north of where I'm pet-sitting (pics 1 & 2). Today, the Stone Canyon Fire started 7 miles west from here (pics 3-5). Both are growing rapidly and evacuation orders are in place for the affected areas, including the small town of Lyons. Fortunately, we should be safe here, especially being surrounded by well-irrigated farmland. 🤞🏻
The shitty part is that it conjures up memories of evacuating from the Marshall Fire a couple years ago while also pet-sitting. Everything will be just fine, Michael!
