Ah yeah these things need captions, I really wanted to join but had no Stormtrooper parts! I went to the local LEGO reseller (not BAM) and experienced the pain of being a Star Wars fan. Never again.

Vulture’s Escape
-
I gave Batman some love, so I gotta give Spidey some love too. Really loved building the wings, lot of thanks to @ichocotiramisu for pushing me in the right direction on my inspiration. I took inspiration from Vultures and the Homecoming movie. Really loved the shaping and then slapping the rotors on.

“You want to leave? But I haven’t even cut the cake!”
-
Super happy with this little build, I wanted to capture a bit of chaos with the Hatter’s table and all the details. I’m super proud of the table build, and how the quilted tablecloth is integrated. The unfortunate part being that it’s immediately covered with clutter. This is a bit of a throwback to one of my old Batman stories in terms of its layout, but the execution here is much better. Super happy with this one, and it’s my first Batman in YEARS.

Tenet
-
Yeah, this is a repost(?) but I added Elizabeth Debicki (who is 6’3 btw) and Neil has a blue shirt finally. I felt goofy as I bought a One Piece set and it had the exact arms I wish I had for Neil. And I redid the Protagonist’s face.

The Odyssey - Filthy Beggar
-
Really enjoyed the film adaptation of The Odyssey! Quite a few scenes stuck out to me as phenomenal, but there was one in particular that felt like a true challenge to try and tackle. The axe shot scene had a few elements I really wanted to get right, the stream of water trickling through the center, the warm flames, the triumphant stringing of the bow, and the shadows of suitors.

I truly loved this adaptation of the classic, and I hope to recreate a little more from it!

LEGO Icons - Sophia Wilson (F) Portland Thorns
-
I really liked the idea of these soccer sets, and my dear friend took me to my very first professional soccer game to watch the Thorns absolutely demolish the Reign. From sitting in those stands and hearing the chants I knew Rose City was a true sports city. I tried my best to replicate as much of the city as I could, from the rose embedded into the pitch and breaking out of the border, the pride flags to acknowledge the deep roots of the LGBTQIA+ community, and the St. John’s Bridge.
-
Really enjoyed building this one, hopefully LEGO makes some sets for the women’s world cup next year!

LEGO 7780 Somewhat Remake
-
I got this cool boat part at the resale store near me and it reminded me of this set I always wanted as a kid. It’s nowhere near 1:1, but this is my first Batman post in years, so it’s kinda cool to see that.

Resident Evil 4
-
This build has literally been two years in the making, the idea had survived like 3 failed collabs and the frustration of feeling like I could never make it. Thankfully, I’m pretty happy with it today!
