Then you may be on track to impress Yasmine Ghoniem, the latest A+D luminary to join ADR's 30UNDER30 program for 2026/2027 as a judge and mentor.

Tom Mark Henry is a Sydney-based interior design practice founded in 2014 by directors, Cushla McFadden and Jade Nottage. It’s also the latest studio to join Australian Design Review‘s 30UNDER30 program as a practice partner.

As if that wasn't enough, Cushla McFadden (pictured right) is also one of our shortlist judges this year.

Bradhly Le, founder and creative director of @rizenatelier, is no stranger to ADR‘s 30UNDER30 program, having been a practice partner last year.

This time he’s taking on the (not so) enviable task of narrowing down the swathe of entries into a shortlist, from which the mentors and judges will select the final 30.

A month out from the building's launch, Toia has also been announced as a judge and mentor for the 2026/2027 30UNDER30 program.

ADR speaks to Toia about his formative years as a designer and his ambition to give back to the industry that has given him so much.

Tom Black, the founder and director of T. Black and T. Black Atelier, has only been in Australia for five years, but he’s already made an undeniable impact on the interior architecture and product design industries.

And now he’s looking to give something back to the design community by joining ADR‘s 30UNDER30 program as a practice partner.

Meryl Hare established her multi award-winning practice Hare + Klein nearly 40 years ago, and since then has become an absolute stalwart of the industry.

Recognised as both an advocate and leading practitioner, she was awarded a Fellowship of the Design Institute of Australia in 2001 and inducted into its Hall of Fame a decade later.

And this year, Hare + Klein has joined Australian Design Review‘s 30UNDER30 as a practice partner.

Established in 2000 with Koos de Keijzer as founding partner and principal, DKO has expanded to now work from six different studios across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.

As DKO has grown, so too has its consideration of the career pathways of its younger designers. With an eye to fostering their flourishing and that of other emerging talents, DKO has now joined ADR‘s 30UNDER30 program as a practice partner.

Joining David Flack and Yasmine Ghoniem as a judge and mentor for ADR's 2026/2027 30UNDER30 is HDR's Amy Papas.

Thanks to an unexpected turn of events, she's now a specialised laboratory planner, and so a natural advocate for keeping an open mind, being spontaneous and looking for an advocate who will always have your back.

Head of her eponymous design studio for nigh on quarter of a century, Miriam (Mim) Fanning has been racking up the accolades on a regular basis since then.

In 2024/2025 she joined ADR's 30UNDER30 program as a mentor and judge. Now, for the 2026/2027 program, she has expanded that involvement by becoming a practice partner.
