Sweated through every meter of thick humidity and quiet country park roads up Hong Kong’s highest peak, Tai Mo Shan, and earned every single bit of post-ride dim sum with the crew.

Another day well spent on the bike. Join the RCC for the next one.

𝗥𝗖𝗖𝗛𝗞𝗚 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝟬𝟮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗕𝗮𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗵𝘂 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗿

This year’s RCCHKG Far02 brings us to a 140km reservoir run around Baipenzhu, Huizhou. Blessed with great views and company, here are some photo highlights!

@adrian.velophotos : “This is my fourth FAR ride and the second as a photographer. The gravel segments, the brutal climbs and the hot temperature did not make this one easy. Yet, looking back through my lens, it will be remembered as a memorable one”

@kitsune._.photos : “This is my first official ride as a photographer and my first far ride. The blistering heat really caught up as the sun rose in the afternoon, but with all the smooth roads, great views, short gravel segments, the variations made taking photos a blast. With every checkpoint filled with laughter and smiles as we talk about the ride with the amazing support crew, these moments captured through my lens are priceless. It felt like a dream team partnering with Adrian, as he catered for photos for Group A, and I catered for Group B, we tried our best to capture everyone’s proud moments. Can’t wait for the next Far ride again!”

So happy to be finishing my 4th FAR ride, the 3rd with a camera on my back, while smashing the course with a strong group. This one will live in my memories as the "strade bianchi" FAR.

Receipt of me doing my photographer job :)
Riding out of a tunnel free hands is the good vibes at FAR

Trust me, 20% gradient is hard for me
I don't defy physics unfortunately

Rolling out at a chill pace, tho @adrian__lam might disagree

Strade Bianchi?

My name is Adrian Chow and I am a conservative rider

100km done! There was cramping, sweat, a final push under the scorching sun, but above all, a fierce positive attitude through every single obstacle.

Seeing your growth over the past year with RCC has been pure inspiration. From riders who struggled through last year’s Women’s 100 training rides now conquering 100km in the fast group, to beginners who barely knew how to shift gears now proudly crossing that 100km finish line - you proved what consistency and community can do.

W100 Stickers are still available at the Clubhouse, and don’t forget to redeem your post-ride perk for a complimentary fitness class at @projectsfitness

A huge thank you to our support team for making this happen: @kathy_lamcy @tracylpling @paulko168 @official.mamachari.cyclist @__rickylai__ @voodoo_economics @eric_lee

Stay tuned for our October Women’s Ride - another chance to ride, reconnect, and keep the W100 spirit going.

2026.1.1 RCCHKG New Year's Day Tai Mo Shan Ride

What's the best way to start a year? Summiting the tallest peak in Hong Kong: Tai Mo Shan (957m)

A road that leads to the sky

A view with the city as the background

The "Ball Ball"

Up and up and up

A little rest up top

Not a bad place to do a handstand

The excitement upon reaching the first rest stop
