Welcome to the Otto Zone. ⛵️🔥

Otto is 17, one of those people everyone roots for, and he’s already winning heats against @jimthweatt !

Over the past season, he’s grown into a faster, more confident, and more independent sailor. And right alongside him is his mom, who has embraced every new sailing challenge too, from learning the boats to taking on every knot she can.

Today, we’re handing Otto the mic.🎤

Meet Otto, hear his story, and see why he and his family have become such a special part of our team. And a special thank you to our sponsor, @digitalcontrast.media for capturing the Otto Zone!

At West Sacramento Inclusive Sailing Foundation, everyone sails. 💛#adaptivesports #sail #sailing #saillife #challengedathletesfoundation #adaptiveathlete #sailboats #sailaway by @adrianeleeeee

Now THAT was a show!!! 💣💣💣@miked 5D absolutely ruled last night!!
I am so grateful to have been there with you @porkchop75 that was good for our souls... Slide 8 for some mega @beastieboys nostalgia. So rad seeing Mike D rock with his kids💕🫠💕

When we were kids listening to the Beastie Boys, we each took on a role.
Kristin = MCA, @kimberlyannemulligan =Mike D and me as AdRock.
We were very serious about only rapping "our" part🤓. Those were the days, and last night was so special.
Im lucky to have seen the Beastie Boys multiple times, and Im even luckier to have seen this show at a small club, with Chopper 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 taken in The Catalyst Club by @adrianeleeeee

“Can I have a sunset with my sail? “ A real question from Otto🌅⛵️

Absolutely.

This was Otto’s view last night. Just a sailor, his boat, the wind and a Wednesday evening on the water.

And this? This is the goal.

Not just getting people on a sailboat. Teaching people to sail. Supporting their goals. Building the skills to take the helm and, someday, head out on a Wednesday evening simply because they can.

Because everyone deserves views like this.

At West Sacramento Inclusive Sailing Foundation, everyone sails. 💛
