We’re the production house for outdoor brands.

Adrift is a UK based photography and video production company specialising in producing creative, engaging, story-based visual content for the adventure and outdoors sector.

Born through @shot_by_alice and @sammorris3 joint passion for the ocean and the great outdoors, Adrift has captured moments for brands across the globe.

We believe that creative production is a specialist activity. By solely focusing on content production and storytelling, Adrift uses the power of in-house specialist knowledge to deliver agile, high-quality photography, and video production.

Our aim is to capture the moments that simply can’t be made by staying still.

Meet the team at Adrift continued…

Here is our other co-founder, photographer and drone op, Sam.

Growing up on the Isle of Wight, Sam has always been surrounded by the coast and all the other goodness that comes from living on an island. This has meant that inspiration to get outdoors was never far away…

Sam has always been fascinated by cameras and how they can create something special out of the ordinary. His career began working for local businesses, shooting and filming a variety of subjects, all helping him understand how light works to dramatically change a scene.

Most of Sam’s time is spent chasing light in scenic places, always making time for a wild swim or two. He is always keen for an adventure in new parts of the world and feels lucky to have work take him to places that he may never go otherwise.

Introducing Alice, our co-founder and DOP.

Alice is an award winning cinematographer, video producer, editor, and photographer.

Growing up amidst the beauty of the South of England, Alice was captivated by the transformative power of cinema to evoke emotions and transport its audiences.

Her career journey began as a focus puller and camera trainee, driven by a passion to get closer to the camera. As the digital video landscape evolved, her passion for short-form content blossomed.

Throughout her career, Alice has crafted compelling commercial content for a diverse range of brands, collaborating with talented individuals worldwide. With an adventurous spirit, she seamlessly integrated her passion for travel and exploration into her storytelling.

When not with a camera, Alice is mostly found near or in water. She loves to explore new cultures, with always adding vintage cameras to her growing collection.

It was a pleasure to be working with @nosyagency and @roundtheislandrace to capture one of the Isle of Wight’s most iconic events a few weekends ago.

For anyone who hasn’t come across it before, the Round the Island Race is an annual yacht race that sees thousands of sailors circumnavigate the Isle of Wight in a single day. It’s a huge event for the island and always incredible to witness from both the water and the air.

We were brought in to support the Nosy team by capturing aerial drone footage and on the water visuals, helping create a long form film that will be used for future marketing. Throughout the day we based ourselves at the Island Sailing Club, joining the wider team between boat outings before heading back out to capture the next moments of the race.

From calm early morning light to colourful sails filling the Solent, it was one of those productions that reminded us how lucky we are to call this island home.

A brilliant day working with a great team and celebrating such a special event.

From our time at @fzeen_kefalonia 🇬🇷

It doesn’t get much more relaxing than this. Tucked away along the idyllic shores of this special island, it’s a place of beautiful views, swim spots, and incredible local food.

We were here creating a long-form video and a collection of stills to capture the slower pace of island life, and the authentic experiences that make this place everything it is. taken in Kefalonia, Greece by @adriftvisuals

It’s always a special time of year capturing the @roundtheislandrace along the shores of the Isle of Wight.

One of our favourite sights is watching more than 800 yachts make their way around The Needles and along the island’s west coast, especially when the weather puts on a show.

Sam recently headed out to the Spanish Pyrenees with the @stampproductions team to capture the newly launched Honda Prelude…

Designed alongside glider aircraft, the car presented a unique creative challenge incorporating these similarities into the shoot and showcasing the connection between both on the ground and in the air.
