The cradle valley landscape is the most breathtaking mountainscapes I’ve ever visited in Australia. It’s stunning lakes, fiery red low bushland at higher altitudes and rocky towering mountain peaks in the background. It creates in my opinion, the perfect scene for the landscape I love to shoot.
I wanted my story of the photos this trip too feel authentic, going beyond the typical tourist spots and showcase the local landscapes in scale, from a different perspective.
This shot was taking at the higher areas of the face track before the summit. Scrambling across these rocky paths with a towering peak right next to is absolutely breath taking 👌
We actually took a couple of wrong turns and went 30 minutes deep into the overland track towards Lake St. Clair, due to overcast conditions, it can be hard to see your reference points while hiking.. Always pays to bring an off-line map with you… always…….- In tern, we captured some absolute beautiful shots in areas we actually didn’t plan to go.. This is apart of that journey. 🙌

First day in the city with the Leica Q2 - and, what a phenomenal camera with personality. Or is it the lens? The tonality this thing produces is next level, and it renders light in a way I haven’t experienced before. Seems the Summilux magic is real. It kind of gives me that Fuji 35mm f/1.4 character (if you know, you know) but sharper, cleaner, and with far better microcontrast.This is straight out of camera RAW, aside from a small exposure lift and a gentle nudge to the shadows. I always shoot about a stop under, metered for highlights to pull in that shadow-play sauce. Wish you could see the raw file. Definitely got some soul on first impressions.

Every space has its own personality. This beautiful new psychology studio from @__zburnett__ was designed to help people feel at ease from the moment they arrive.
Long time friend and client wanted these images to reflect the warmth, comfort and sense of welcome she hopes everyone person experiences when they walk through the door. Rather than simply photographing the studio, I wanted to capture the feeling of it, quiet corners, soft light and the small details, an editorial approach if you will.

Sydney Pt.II - black & white. A few more frames from the morning walk around the bustle. This time they felt better without the colour. Just the people, architecture and the feeling of wandering without much of a plan. Had a couple of early morning hours in Sydney CBD before getting busy with work, so wandered the city with the camera instead. The light never really showed up, grey skies all morning.
