When you’re on your journey, sometimes you have to let the path take you where it’s going to take you.

Divinely right after I made this I stopped by a bath shop in Berkeley that’s always closed when I go by (I love my baths) and I met Ms. Alice. A Black woman who clearly is magical and can see magic and is putting it in bath goodies (and other things).

She told me she was just asking for confirmations to keep going after 35 years of running her business. Bc of course things get hard. And that me coming in at that moment was what she needed. And it was what I needed too. Hearing her story of breaking cycles of poverty in her family as the motivation to start her business reminds me that when you move from the heart and stick with it, you can move mountains.
