To all my Les Mill family, I’m wrapping up my New Zealand journey with gratitude. The country is stunning, the people are genuinely kind and @lesmillsaucklandcity was beyond a dream. I created my own Les Mills Quarterly and took Sprint, Rpm, Grit, Pump, Body balance and Pilates from undeniably some of the worlds’ best presenters. I’ve been teaching the Les Mills format for over 15 years and this is hands down the best part yet. A big thank you to all of the instructors who took time to chat and share some time with me. And before summer comes to a halt, still reminiscing on our New Zealand journey. When in Queenstown we stumbled into a beautiful cathedral and got to partake in mass 🙏. Our last excursion was Hobbittown and the gloworm caves. The scenery on the farm where the epic movies were filmed was breathtaking. Turns out the farmer was eager to have his land used as long as his sheep weren’t disturbed🐑🐏. Along the way we saw one of the nine species of deer, an ostrich an emu and more gorgeous greenlands. by @afnutritionaf

The birthday shenanigans have lasted all month and we lost count of how many cakes you had BUT you only turn 15 once, right? 07-14-11 you entered this world and made us parents. You are a thoughtful, kind and compassionate, yet fiery and a full of grit type of gal. We thank God for all that you bring to this world. Back to memory lane. Still in Queenstown we hit up the kiwi park and gondola. Fun fact, kiwi birds are only in New Zealand and they are nocturnal. They have viewing nocturnal exhibits but no cameras allowed. The brown animal is their possum, super destructive by eating tree roots contributing to landslides—solution is using the pelt in combo with merino wool for super soft and warm clothes! The colorful boxes are bees for the world famous Manuka honey. We went on a gorgeous hike on the Ben Lohmand trail not to mention starting the day out with a rainbow🌈🥾⛰️ by @afnutritionaf

Next stop on our trip (before meeting some amazing dogs in queenstown) and eating red kiwi (cross bred with strawberries) was off to Milford sound. It was about a 4 hour bus ride to the falls so there were plenty of scenic stops along the way. Mirror lake was gorgeous and the wild parrots were pretty cool too. Milford Sound was this oasis between the mountains with the sounds and sites of waterfalls all around. 🏔️🌊🦜 by @afnutritionaf

Next portion of our trip: we headed off to Queenstown, less than a 1.5 hour flight from Auckland. The boys headed off to hunt and the girls went off to explore. The end of fall, beginning of winter made for glorious leave colors and snow capped mountains. In town the girls made bracelets, I went for early, very hilly walks and our first official tour was by by boat to Walter farm park. We met some amazing animals including Mia the sheep dog and Peanut, a very tiny pig🐷. by @afnutritionaf

Our journey to New Zealand began in Auckland. We saw the city from the sky Tower where multiple volcanoes are visible learning that New Zealand is made up of volcanic ash. We then journeyed to Cathedral Cove, and got to dip our toes in the refreshing Pacific Ocean 🥶— it’s currently winter time in NZ. We were fortunate to walk along a farm path with up close sheep and cows. At another beach we dug deep into the sand to find hot springs, remnants of the volcanos. Everywhere we looked we where reminded of God’s glory♥️ by @afnutritionaf

Delayed post! May 28, 2026 we woke up and celebrated my favorite boy’s entry into his teenage era. Happy 13th birthday Ethan. Your sweet heart mixed with your tenacity is the perfect combo♥️. We thank God daily for all that you are. We promptly left for Auckland, NZ and arrived there a short 16 hours later (not to mention on May 30🤯). Just a few pictures of the trip but 🤞many more to come. A trip of a lifetime is an understatement. by @afnutritionaf
