Inspired by @leacayoungart using her clip art, Tend to What Matters. My journaling has felt repetitive lately and these prompts have put the spark back into my journal pages.

Meditative practice with @arttherapywithsana . This is such a beautiful practice. No expensive supplies needed. Just a pen, paper, and something to draw circles with.

Quiet morning spent beachcombing on Lake Huron. Returned with both pockets bulging and wet, filled with rocks and beach glass. My sleeves were soaked, my boots sloshed as I walked from going too far out to get that perfect rock, and I couldn't be happier. This is my kind of morning. I wished we lived closer so I could do it more often.

Day 94 of #100daysoflearningtodraw
African daisy

I took what I learned from watching @leacayoungart on her YouTube channel, Ink Drawing for Beginners Part 1. Adding tension marks, marks of interests, and inking in where I made mistakes so it looks more nature. I have no idea what this plant looks like in it's natural habitat so I drew simple leaves and falling petals to make it realistic on the book page. #overcomingfear

100 day project goal: to gain confidence & improve my drawing skills by practicing with botanical line drawings, landscapes, faces, and everyday things.

Day 93 of #100daysoflearningtodraw
Drawing along with @leacayoungart on her YouTube channel, Ink Drawing for Beginners Part 1. I have been drawing my daily botanical drawings in pencil so this was a challenge to draw with black pen. #overcomingfear

Day 91 of #100daysoflearningtodraw This is my attempt at drawing from nature rather than botanical drawings. I found myself getting lost in the details, especially with the cedar branch. Why did I put off trying this for so long??? #overcomingfear
