AFPA Gallery is proud to present Andrew Pranger at Aqua Art Miami 2026. @andrewprangerart

Pranger’s figurative paintings explore vulnerability, awkwardness, and quiet intimacy within the unguarded moments of everyday life. With subtle humor and psychological tension, his work examines the fragile space between confidence and uncertainty.

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Pranger studied Fine Art at the University of Brighton and has exhibited throughout the U.S. and England taken in Aqua Art Miami by @afpagallery

AFPA Gallery is proud to present Briana Hertzog for Aqua Art Miami 2026.

Briana Hertzog creates whimsical, imagined worlds where the boundaries between human nature and the natural world beautifully blur. Through expressive human-animal figures and richly detailed landscapes, her paintings explore connection, instinct, consciousness, and what it means to be human.

Working primarily in oil, Hertzog brings together the visual language of illustration and contemporary fine art, creating immersive narratives that are playful, intimate, and emotionally resonant.

Based in Virginia, Hertzog’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at Aqua Art Miami, Thinkspace Projects, Capital Modern Museum, and Arch Enemy Arts.

We’re honored to bring her distinctive visual storytelling to Aqua Art Miami 2026.

Metamorphosis, memory, and the body in transition.

AFPA Gallery is proud to present the work of Willow Wells at Aqua Art Miami 2026.

Through painting and printmaking, Wells creates hauntingly beautiful hybrid figures that dissolve the boundaries between the human body and the natural world. Drawing from body horror, mythology, and the grotesque feminine, her work explores transformation as a space where identity, ecology, and emotion converge.

A recipient of both a BFA from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts and an MFA from the University of South Florida, Wells has exhibited at the Sarasota Art Museum, Masur Museum of Art, Contemporary Art Museum Tampa, and other institutions across the United States.

🍰✨The Sacred Cheesecake Offering✨🍰

Swipe through for a look behind the cake layers: details of the finished piece, works in progress, and the May spread from my 2026 calendar, which you may recognize hanging in your space right now! 📅

Built from vintage magazines, rhinestone embellishments, an upcycled frame, and a carefully woven-in article, containing a 1960s prediction confidently explaining why tech-based matchmaking would never catch on. Well, that sure aged like milk 😌

I love incorporating these little cultural time capsules into my work; moments, ideas, and predictions that take on entirely new meanings decades later.

Now for an exciting new chapter...

I’m thrilled to share that ‘ The Sacred Cheesecake Offering’ has been selected for exhibition with @afpagallery at Aqua Art Miami during Miami Art Week this December! 🌴✨

This is a huge milestone for me, and I couldn’t be more excited that this piece will be one of two works making the journey to Miami ☀️

Stay decadent 🍰

A first glimpse into Earth Speaks — an exhibition by Rachel Rector.

Working with cameraless photography and historical processes, Rector invites nature itself to become a collaborator. Sunlight, water, and organic materials leave their traces across each surface, forming images that feel at once intimate and fleeting.

Here, authorship softens. Control gives way to process. What remains are works that carry the quiet weight of memory—fragile, yet enduring.

Blending photography with poetry, collage, and textile elements, Earth Speaks unfolds as a tactile, sensory experience—one that asks us to slow down and listen more closely to the natural world.

We’re deeply grateful to Lauren Allen and The Eclectika Gallery for this meaningful collaboration.

A small preview, with more to come.

Open Reception: May 16th, 2026, 6pm - 10pm
