Turning this into a series, because Poulenc’s music deserves to be heard but most especially this was sooo much fun to play with the extremely talented pianist that is @vale.kaufman aka my Scorpio sister!

We had spent two weeks rehearsing everyday and we managed to pull of a great repertoire for the ‘classic meets jazz’ @montreuxjazzartistsfoundation x @langlangfoundation

It became obvious we had a fantastic synergy together despite meeting only twice before this performance, not only the fun was unmatched, but by the end I knew I had made a friend for life! (She’s also Italian so of course that made it easier 🫶🏾💗)

This is Poulenc Four Hands Piano Sonata - I movement
Some mistakes were made by yours truly but I want to get over this perfectionism thingy so be nice!

MY LOVELY PPLS, I CAN FINALLY SHARE THIS NEWS WITH YOU! 🩵🩵

MY NEW SONG ‘SAME SKY’ WILL BE YOURS ON OCT.14th 🎶

✨PRE-SAVE LINK IN BIO ✨

It has been a very long journey and I’m super excited to be sharing new music with you all again.
In the current political climate, it was really important for me to align my values in my music as well. Denouncing war and genocide in this particular song.

SAME SKY would not be what it is this without the contributions of these incredible talents @berlinmusicensemble @fayim.musik @charlotte.colace @lyriya.music @emilslablife 👏🏾💗

And thE incredible studio and engineers at @brewerystudios @mixedbyandrea @themixroom

Make sure your pre-save the song to be on the first row when it’s out 🫶🏾
Stick around to find out what’s next xx 😘

I’m hyperventilating and freaking out just thinking about the nightmare of starting to release music AGAIN and promoting it as an indie artist of a niche genre.
All of this is also mixed with a genuine desire of sharing my work and wanting it to resonate with as many people as possible.
I love doing what I do, and I consider myself very blessed to be able to live from it, but I don’t like the industry.

Any KIND advise/support is welcome 🤗

Meloni hai veramente rotto i ***

What happens after your heart breaks in thousands of pieces?

Sometimes we become so detached and distant while running away from a heartache’s pain.
We end up becoming so far from ourselves, even unrecognisable in order to protect our feelings, or, dare I say, run from them.

I wrote this song (unpublished) on one of Gershwin’s prelude, I had fun exploring this character that had become so scared of their own shadow, that they could only wait on cowardice to run its course, before being able to stick the pieces of their heart back together again.

I haven’t posted in suuuch a longtime (mamma mia) hope you don’t mind me continuing this series from our concert with @montreuxjazzartistsfoundation with @vale.kaufman 💗
