The AfroGreeks Concert: Remember This Song

Friday 25/4 | 20:30

A public event within the ongoing collective project the AfroGreeks by the group Døcumatism, in which the protagonists of the project present a musical performance dedicated to the African-American writer and activist James Baldwin, marking 101 years since his birth. Afro-Greek artists “take over” the Olympia Municipal Music Theatre – Maria Callas, welcome the spring, and invite the people of Athens to actively participate in a musical dialogue. Through the use of moving image, the performance highlights the many ways tradition influences the creation of musical identity, enriching it to transcend the boundaries of place.

📍 Olympia Municipal Music Theatre “Maria Callas” (59 Akadimias St, Athens 10679)
