The young rider who blew away the field at the inaugural @gardenroutegiro has been racing overseas for the @filialcajarural_alea u23 Team.

@cronje_beukes has already had a few noticeable results and just recently finished 2nd against a competitive peloton.

Good luck Cronje! Keep smashing it!

Can Willie Smit spoil the Triple Crown party? 👀

With Ryan already having the Cape Town Cycle Tour and Amashova in the bag, Ride Joburg is the final piece of the puzzle.

We chat about Willie’s chances of beating him, what it might take to upset the plan, and just how interesting that battle could get when the racing starts.

A bit of rivalry, a bit of banter… and plenty on the line.

Willie Smit’s tactics for this year’s Ride Joburg… apparently nothing is off the table 😂

We get into a few of the more questionable things that have happened in races over the years, the games that get played when racing at a high level, and what Willie might have planned for November.

All in good fun, plenty of banter… and hopefully no UCI officials are watching this one too closely.

The Volta a Portugal is always… interesting 👀

In this clip from the latest pod, we get into the world of Portuguese racing — the salaries, the teams, the riders putting out some seriously impressive numbers, and the reputation the race has built over the years.

Some huge performances. Some big questions. And plenty to talk about.

Willie Smit DQ’d… for his glasses? 👀

In the latest pod, we unpack one of the stranger @uci_cycling stories doing the rounds — Willie Smit’s disqualification for racing with Oakley Meta glasses.

Technology is moving fast, but clearly the rulebook is watching too.

Was the DQ fair, or is this one of those rules cycling needs to rethink?

Be sure not to miss this one! ☝️

We have a special guest joining us on the pod this Wednesday @againsttheclockpod

Thanks to everyone who’s sent through suggestions for guest speakers. We completely agree — it’s important to keep things fresh, bring in new perspectives, and mix things up. We’re well aware that listening to the same two guys every week can only be entertaining for so long…

Can you guess who it might be? 🎙️ by @againsttheclockpod

What was @ryangibbons23 referring to here?

Can @kentmain contribute more to some results in2026?

Will the banter ever stop? At least we know the answer to this one ☝️
