I’m still on such a high!

My first Pro Win and by far my biggest cycling achievement!

Things have a weird way of working themselves out. At the start of this stage I was not super motivated, it was raining and miserable, and I didn’t quite feel up to it. With all of this being said, there is no real way to describe the feeling of freewheeling over the finish line in first place after a massive effort! It honestly makes it all worth it!

I would also like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me, it’s been a long journey and definitely not the smoothest, but I really do appreciate everyone’s support!

Thanks to @team_protouch and all our sponsors who enable us to race and have these opportunities!

Now I just want to win again! by @kentmain

The Cape Town Cycle Tour 2024 Champion!

This is a race that every cyclist in the country dreams of winning, an event that generates more excitement than any other, and it’s an absolutely beautiful way to spend any morning! I still cannot quite believe what has happened and I’m soaking up every single moment.

Thank you to my team @rkc_collective and all my teammates: @keanan_25_roodt @chrisjnrjooste @rohanduplooy - you guys are legends!

Thanks to our sponsors who have supported this small dream and made it a reality. Without your help, we wouldn’t have been on the start line. @ciovita @met_helmets @superfood_za @dmtcycling @pace.protocol.eyewear @plusaerowheelsets

I’ve had the idea of starting a team for some time now. Unfortunately, at the end of last year, I found myself in a position where I didn’t have a team to race with in 2024. Out of a pure desire to continue racing and contribute to cycling in the country, I formed alliances with three other like-minded riders, who are now my teammates. I’ve worked tirelessly to secure sponsors, plan calendars, and do everything I can to keep competitive cycling alive in @cycling_sa, all while enjoying racing. This win is the icing on the cake and proves that hard work pays off!

Lastly, thanks to everyone who has supported us, been in our corner, and shared our journey - we appreciate you 😉

Cycling gives us so much.

Freedom. Friendship. Competition. Perspective. The chance to push ourselves, suffer together, and keep coming back for more.

It’s a magnificent sport, but it can also be a cruel and unpredictable one. Maybe that’s part of what makes every good day on the bike mean so much.

We love the road for everything it gives us.

Proud to have RoadCover alongside us for the journey. You should too.

A little look into our office.

I’ve been privileged to call this part of my life for the past 12 years. There have been plenty of highs and lows, moments of motivation, moments where the drive has been harder to find, and everything in between.

But at the end of the day, riding a bike is still one of the best ways to clear the head, release some stress, and remind yourself to simply enjoy it

To all of our partners, thank you. Your support means far more to us than simply having your name alongside ours. You give us the opportunity to keep chasing what we love, creating memories, and doing something we’re incredibly passionate about. We’re genuinely grateful to have you on this journey with us.

Another big day out for Team RoadCover DMS!

🥇 Kent Main
🥈 Ryan Gibbons

A 1–2 finish at the Meals on Wheels Road Race after a dominant team display from start to finish. Great to see the team working together, committing to the race and converting it into another win.

A big thank you to the organisers for putting on such a well-run event. These races don’t happen without a huge amount of work behind the scenes, and we’re grateful to everyone who made the day possible.

And, as always, a massive thank you to all our sponsors and supporters who continue to back this team. Another one for Team RoadCover DMS!

A massive shoutout to @dunkeldcycles and @william.bush for letting me test out this @gozwift bike during this week’s cold weather.

Having a permanent indoor setup like this makes everything so much easier and there’s no need to faf around, just climb on and train.

This whole setup is actually pretty well priced, go check it out at Dunkeld Cycles by @kentmain
