Maybe we will chalk it up to back to school, but this almost never happens-

We are WIDE OPEN for ♦️ Intro to Stained Glass class this FRIDAY! We only have three signups, so five spots are open and it’s looking like a private class for those who are coming.

Saturday we are Sold Out for the 🍁 Fall Leaves Nightlight class, but we are offering this again in October.

Sunday we still have a bunch of spots left in our 👻 Spooky Votive class. Yes, we will be offering this again in October, but if you join us this weekend, you get to enjoy it for the month leading up to Halloween. There are people who already have up Halloween decorations. You know who you are!

We have a monthly block of Stained Glass classes with Amy and Vanessa of A Glass Fantasy. Sometimes the way things fall out, those blocks are close together from one month to the next. If you missed out last weekend, our next block is in just two weeks!

As I was finishing up making my dichroic gems and bevels today i figured i would share a quick trick that I use to help prevent starches when grinding things I really don’t want to scratch.

My mom, @allnessysfriends, came home from teaching today to her @summerdazeglassswap box from @noneofthisiscake ! The video is a bit chaotic after teaching all day, but this swap box was so so generous and full of so many amazing goodies! Kristi thank you so so much for such a beautiful box of gifts. It’s summertime and sandal season, so I guess the time to remind students to please know what kind of class you are signed up for and if proper footwear is required.

If MOLTEN METAL is involved, there is no budging from safety precautions of wearing shoes that completely cover your feet. It’s clearly stated that if you show up in sandals that you will not be able to participate.

✔️ It’s in BOLD typeface on the website class description.
✔️ It’s in ALL CAPS on the ticket.
✔️ It’s in ALL CAPS in the confirmation email.
✔️ It’s in ALL CAPS in the logistics email.
✔️ You literally have to click on a box when purchasing the ticket saying that you are aware of this policy.

Buying a class ticket for someone else? Make sure they read the ticket, website description, confirmation or logistics email. Coming to class as a guest? Simply read the class description on the website to know what kind of class you are attending.

I’ve said this multiple times, but enforcing this and the cancellation policy is the worst part of my job.
