Posting this video because at some point during this round, I closed my eyes and felt very connected to the way the song made me feel and that’s my favourite thing about dancing!

Thank you for the exchange @wondhurland!! I had so much fun! 😍 And thank you @sandji_guilhem for hosting and everything else you’re doing for the community!! 🫶

Thank you @sailor.tintin for the video!! I don’t take enough videos of myself dancing, so I really appreciate you for always capturing me and the rest of us ♥️ by @agnithamohan

What happens if we do it anyways?

There’s so much pressure on women to be perfect. To be beautiful but effortless, kind but strong, smart but humble, tidy but easy-going, agreeable but outspoken. To be everything, all at once.

What if we choose ourselves over perfection? Over other people’s expectations of us? What if we stop trying to meet every impossible standard and simply exist, mess and all?

The same choreography in two different worlds. The world of perfection: black outfits, slicked-back hair, statement jewellery, controlled, polished, put together. And the world of chaos: red, hot, messy, raw.

This is dedicated to every woman learning to let go of expectations and choose herself.

To just be.

Thank you @kingcharles_____ for believing in me, trusting me, and welcoming me into your family! I’m so excited for everything that’s to come and to keep training, improving, and supporting this culture in the Bay Area! 💕🙏

A special mention to @soumi1606, who has never given up on me and has worked tirelessly to push the culture forward here. I’m grateful for all your support and excited to be alongside you in this journey. 💕

And thank you to everyone who welcomed me, shared knowledge, pushed me, and made this experience so meaningful! There are too many people to name, but I hope you all know how grateful I am. 🙏

For all of this to happen in Chicago, where it all began, is such an honor! ♥️ by @agnithamohan
