I miss this piece I designed it as one of my final class projects in 2019. At the time I was infatuated with Memphis style and thoughts of mixed materials.

All from recycled materials, the of this project was reacting to the discarded materials and making it feel intentional. Taking loud colors and gestures and calming them against a soft pastel palette.

Many of the considerations practiced in this work have continued to be applied into my art practice of building harmony from chaos. by @ahchipaptunhe

The Miracle of Tomorrow

Wanted to share in process video of a new work. This originally was developed on newsprint with attributes of collage, color pencil, and oil pastels. From that initial idea I have brought it over into this painting I do not require myself to be precious with the marks or hold myself to copy the original concept, but instead to hold to the original feeling and movement of the sketch.
