Meet Layan. A 13 year old girl who loves making art. Layan is living with her family in a tent in Gaza's Deir Al Balah camp. Layan was born with a cleft lip & palate. She had surgery as a baby, but as her adult teeth have grown, she's experienced complications and requires orthodontal work and ultimately further surgery. I have got to know the family over the past year and have been fundraising for her for the past few months. Thanks to very genorous donations, Layan has recently started her treatment, but there is still a way to go. Please see the Crowdfunder link in my bio for more information and to donate.
