July is Disability Pride Month!! And We Crip Film Festival returns 18 to 19 July for its second edition!

For one weekend, Disabled filmmakers and audiences will come together to celebrate Disability culture on screen through features, shorts and talks.

Created by the @britishfilminstitute's Disability advocacy group We Crip Film (which I am a proud member heh), the festival is rooted in the principle of Nothing About Us Without Us.

Join us this Disability Pride Month for a programme that centres Disabled stories, creativity and community. Some films included are @joybubblesmovie (edited by my good friend @bradfordford), @lonewolvesfilm directed by my fellow @risd1877 alumna @ryanecunningham) and many moreeeee!! Gonna be a blast, y'all!!

Official announcement that my legs and I have been granted funding by @thedocsociety @britishfilminstitute through the Made of Truth fund for my next short documentary. 🥰 A story of medical bureaucracy but let’s make it FUN (and weird)!!
Currently I’m still waiting for my next appointment though, let’s not get ahead of ourselves! 🦿✨

Slowly taking only 2 meager rolls of film over 2024 and 2025. But I feel so much love looking back! Both rolls were expired (oops…) Photos taken in NYC, Providence, Los Angeles, Italy, Alabama and in the UK. 💕🥹 Love y’all!!
