🔥 1ST PLACE 🔥 at North Canyon on Saturday!

Show #3 of the season, and the Spirit of Arcadia took first in Division IV at the ABODA North Canyon Invitational with Music, Visual, and General Effect Captions! The early early mornings and late practices are paying off. Congrats Spirit! You earned it!!

🔥FORGED BY FIRE 🔥

4th place out of 9 bands at MCC on Saturday!

Show #2 of the season, and the first time debuting our 3rd movement with an awesome trombone feature! The band jumped over 2 points from the week before (54.713 → 56.77) and did it all in 95 degree Mesa heat.

Next up: North Canyon HS on 10/10!

The journey has begun! 🔥
Spirit of Arcadia Marching Band hit the field for our first competition of the season yesterday at the Highland Marching Invitational and brought home 2nd Place in ABODA Division IV plus the Visual Performance Caption Award!
We performed the first two movements of this year’s show, Forged In Fire and we’re just getting started. So proud of these students and all the hard work they’ve already put in. Next up: our second competition this coming Saturday, 10/3. Come cheer us on! 🎺🥁

Good Evening!

We are just 1 week away from our 2026 Band Camp! During camp, students will continue to refine fundamentals, bond with their fellow members, and learn more of our 2026 production, “Forged by Fire”. This event is REQUIRED for all 2026 Marching Band Members, if you cannot attend, please email nconell@susd.org IMMEDIATELY.

Required Materials:
-Athletic Clothes
-Tennis Shoes
-Hat/Sunglasses
-Sunscreen
-A MINIMUM half gallon reusable water bottle
-Instrument/Guard Equipment
-Music in a 3-Ring Binder with sheet protectors

For lunch, students are required to stay ON CAMPUS. Students can bring their own lunch or have their parent/guardian deliver it for them (please refrain from using food delivery apps like DoorDash).

-Tuesday, July 28th 5-8pm

Band Camp (Required!):
-Wednesday, July 29th 8am-3:30pm (Section Leader Shirts)
-Thursday, July 30th 8am-3:30pm (Meme Day)
-Friday, July 31st 8am-3:30pm (Video Game Character Day)
-Saturday, August 1st 8am-12pm (Car Wash Fundraiser)
-Monday, August 3rd 8am-3:30pm (Sports Day)
-Tuesday, August 4th 8am-3:30pm (Section Colors, Parent showcase in Auditorium 2:00pm-3:00pm)
