@anthemvinyl has announced a new partnership with US-based @hellbendervinyl, making it easier for independent artists and labels to manufacture and fulfil records on both sides of the Atlantic.

With local production in Ireland and the US, the partnership aims to reduce shipping costs, shorten delivery routes and simplify international vinyl distribution.

A welcome development for independent artists and labels reaching audiences across multiple markets.

Bright Nights, Big City brought more than 30 speakers from Ireland and internationally together at the National Concert Hall to discuss the future of Dublin after dark.

Across the day, one message came through clearly: culture, transport, safety, planning, licensing and public space need to be considered together if Dublin is to build a stronger night-time economy.

From protecting grassroots venues and cultural spaces to improving late-night transport, safety and long-term policy, the conference opened up a wide-ranging conversation about what the city needs next.

A series of dedicated Bright Nights workshops and panel discussions will follow, with plans for Bright Nights, Big City to return in 2027.

EXCITED! And delighred to be on this journey with @aim.ireland 🫰🏼#BrightNightsBigCity was a much needed reminder that so many of us are working towards the same goal.

Dublin is thriving, but it can do better. Let’s keep talking about it but actually go out and make a difference too. Show up for culture. Try something new. Move beyond your own circles. Take risks. Create art and share it with your community in real life. If you have space to give: actively seek out people who need it these spaces. If you have money to spare, buy advance tickets. There’s so much to love about Dublin, go fall back in love with it.

Only a few days to go until #BrightNightsBigCity comes to @nationalconcerthall

This is just a snapshot of some of the incredible speakers we will have on the day with more to be announced soon.

Organised by AIM Ireland in partnership with Dublin City Council’s Night-Time Economy Advisor, the conference will bring together leading voices from hospitality, music, culture, events and urban policy at the National Concert Hall on Tuesday, 22 September 2026 to discuss the future of Dublin’s night-time economy.

Supported by the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport, the conference will bring together leading figures from hospitality, music, culture, major events and night-time policy in Ireland and internationally for a day-long conversation about Dublin after dark — and where the city goes next.

Discussions across the day will explore the future of the Dublin pub, the journey from grassroots venues to arenas, international night-time policy, club culture and safety, and the impact major events can have on the city.

BICEP, Bricknasty and KETTAMA are among the Irish talent recognised in the 2026 Independent Music Awards nominations 🇮🇪

@feelmybicep are shortlisted for Best Independent Album, @bricknxsty for Best Independent EP/Mixtape, while Steel City Dance Discs is nominated for Best Release Campaign for @kettama’s Archangel.

The winners will be announced at London’s Roundhouse on 22 September.
