spirit moves through light. spirit loves mischief and play. It is from these things that spirit finds creative expression in material form. my beloved sister @rawbabysugar is spirit embodied and when we conjure together with YOU, everything moves.

and don’t we need that now more than ever? movement. change. a profound shift. a way making collective force. loving and generous push to the next thing. Let’s do what we know how to do - let’s begin and feel what is possible.

WE HAVE JUST 2 MORE SPOTS FOR OUR PORTUGAL RETREATMENT @theclass. Your spirit knows what it needs. See you in Algarve in October.

Once a dancer, always a dancer. But to lose strength or full control of your body when you’ve felt the full expressive capacity of your body is the cruelest experience. Also there’s no one more determined than a former professional dancer to get that feeling back. I feel you, mama. You are doing it! by @aimee_mere

The Black Feminist Theory Summer Institute conceived and brilliantly stewarded by Dr. Jennifer Nash is a revelation. Takeaways: @michelleisrizin Michelle Lanier is the beginning, middle, and never ending. The oracle, the prophecy, and the light. Her work is saving our lives.

Get your hands on @brightnfacety Dr. Kaneesha Parsard and @cervenaksarah Dr. Sarah Cervenak’s books as soon as humanly possible. Kaneesha’s is available for preorder. They are both such innovative and courageous thinkers, and gorgeous writers.

We got us.

I’ll carry this energy with me to Santa Fe over the next month as I disappear into my own writing. This thing is kicking hard, ready to be birthed. by @aimee_mere
