My stomach suffered because I fell for the sugar-free, low-calorie buzz words.

Most sugar alcohols found in packaged foods are manmade & manufactured. Food manufacturers use sugar alcohols to sweeten while reducing calories.

I learned the hard way that sugar alcohols, found in many "low-cal" and "no sugar added" treats, are not fully digested by our bodies. They can actually irritate your intestines, causing bloating, gas, and diarrhea.

If you see me scouring an ingredient list, I'm looking to avoid the following ingredients and you should too:
* Xylitol
* Erythritol
* Sorbitol
* Maltitol
* Mannitol
* Isomalt
* Lactitol

In a few days, my sweet friend @ann_moves will be running her very first @chimarathon in support of an organization very close to her heart.

@backonmyfeet uses the beauty of running, community, and support services to empower people experiencing homelessness and addiction across 14 cities, nationwide ❤️

We had the best time supporting her through a 90-min fundraising class she coached at @get.arena.fit but she's just short of her goal!

If you feel so inclined, we both have the link to her fundraising page in our bios 🫶🏼

My brother captioned the photo at the end "my homie in the corner thinks you're cute" hahah

She was sadly so afraid to be seen, so embarrassed of her hair - untamed and all over her body.

Grateful to mom, for teaching me how to thread/manage it myself but feeling most grateful to grow up in a time where it's not so scary to show all parts of me, as I was and am.

making the most of what we got but man are we ready to get into our new place

I wanted a floor mattress for guests (since we ended up in a one-bed) but it's found its home in this living room for now. Turns out it's more comfortable than the rinky dink couch they have in the furnished temp 😅
