A little rosé, a lot of fabulous food, and the kind of 9 to 5 I’m talking about 💋🥂

Hampton Water knows how to make a lunch feel like an occasion, and Dolly Day at The Husky was exactly that. From the beautiful menu to the thoughtful hospitality (shoutout to The Husky for making this pregnant girl feel included with the cutest mocktails 🥹), it was an afternoon well spent.

And just because I’m in my mocktail era doesn’t mean I’m missing out on the fun😉

One thing about me, I’m always going to find a reason to make a lunch date out of it 😂☕️

Nicole and I brought a few friends to French Truck Coffee in Mid-City to try their expanded food menu, and now I have a few new favorites! The kale crunch salad and hot turkey sandwich were right up my alley, but they’ve also got breakfast options like avocado toast and waffles if you’re stopping by earlier in the day.

Of course, we had to throw in some seasonal lattes and pastries because what’s a lunch without a little something sweet? 🤎

Consider this your reminder that French Truck is good for more than just your morning coffee!

Feeling sentimental this week so I thought I share this little video of telling my parents they’ll be Ông ngoại and Bà ngoại 🥹

This is the Vietnamese titles for grandfather and grandmother on the mother’s side. Since I have two older brothers, they have been Bà nội and Ông nội for quite some time and it makes us so happy how excited they are 🥰 by @aintthatphancy

#ad Instacart + Doritos + Lay’s = my kind of game-day starting lineup 🏈

Hosting people means I care very deeply about whether there are enough snacks in the house 😂 and because apparently everyone expects me to host AND understand football, I’m at least going to make sure the food part is handled.

The snack spread is giving *we came prepared* even though I absolutely did not.

Doritos? Required.
Lay’s? Also required.
Instacart? The reason I didn’t have to leave my house to make any of this happen 🙌

The Fried Chicken Festival is taking over this weekend for THREE days, and I’m already preparing myself for the food coma.

If you haven’t heard, @lolasneworleans needs our help! New Orleans is all for community so let’s show out and support local.

I got to dine at @lolasneworleans yesterday and it was fabulous! We did a small meat paella which literally melted in my mouth (YUM!). But you can’t skip the crabmeat tropical or the ceviche!

Highly recommend making a reservation prior to coming! ✨
