SO, WHAT EXACTLY DOES DR. AISHAH ADAMS DO? LET'S START HERE. 💛

I have been thinking about how best to introduce myself to those who are new here, and perhaps even to some of you who have been following my work for a while.

The truth is, I wear quite a number of hats. 😂

I am a therapist, executive coach, strategist, leadership and human development professional, humanitarian leader, speaker, trainer, facilitator and an unapologetic lover of ideas.

But there is a thread connecting all these different areas of my work.

PEOPLE. HUMAN POTENTIAL. AND THE POSSIBILITIES OF A BETTER WORLD.

I am deeply interested in how people heal, grow, lead, work, relate with one another and become the best versions of themselves.

I work with individuals navigating personal and emotional challenges, professionals seeking clarity and growth, and leaders who want to become more effective.

I work with organisations that need better strategies, stronger systems, healthier cultures and people-centred leadership.

I support NGOs and social impact organisations to strengthen their work, develop ideas and build initiatives that can create meaningful, sustainable change.

And through humanitarian work, I remain committed to helping communities access opportunities, dignity and the support they need to thrive.

Some of this work happens through my professional practice and A-Adams Primo Limited. Some happens through Siddiqah Foundation. Other parts happen through speaking, training, facilitation, writing and developing ideas into practical solutions.

Different hats. Different spaces. One underlying commitment.

HELPING PEOPLE FLOURISH.
HELPING ORGANISATIONS THRIVE.
HELPING COMMUNITIES PROSPER.

I don't believe people should have to choose between healing and ambition, or that organisations should have to choose between performance and the wellbeing of their people.

I believe we can build successful lives, effective organisations and thriving communities without losing sight of our humanity.

So, over the coming days, I will be sharing more about the work I do, the things I have learnt, the questions I ask, the ideas I explore and the conversations I believe we need to be having. by @aishah_adams

What to DESIST from saying when around someone in emotional pain.

Today, there was this really rich discussion on SMOOTHFM 98.1 whilst I was a guest on their Lagos Talks Special and we came to speaking about what to do when around someone having a mood swing or experiencing emotional discomfort (Head to @smooth981 YouTube to catch up on the conversation) and we just went on to say, many struggle with Vulnerability and being around others when they are experiencing discomfort.

If this is you, these are somethings you should ensure you cut out of your conversations.

..

I am HERE for YOU

Reach out and let's get started.

Your emotional and mental well-being is important

You ARE important

Hope to see you live your best life in tranquility

P.S; Which of these have you said to someone before?

5 THINGS I WISH I KNEW BEFORE MARRIAGE

Moviese and Novels paint this beautiful love stories that almost makes of dream of unrealistic love when we decide to settle down.

Just yesterday I was working with a dear client and I said to her " opposite attract only in physics"

I'm this post, I took a journey down memory lane and looked at things I wish I had known before getting in and shared.

For those who love videos, the video content for this is coming soon.

Make sure you share and spread the word. Marriage can be beautiful and heavenly and it could feel like an opening from hell too.

May Our Lord Most High bless us with peace in our homes and healing from all the pain caused from errors made in this space.

Hope to see you live your best life in tranquility

With Love,

SEVEN WAYS. ONE UNDERLYING COMMITMENT: HUMAN FLOURISHING.

People sometimes ask me what exactly I do.

And honestly, I understand why. My work spans therapy, leadership development, executive coaching, organisational strategy, nonprofit consulting, public health, humanitarian action, speaking, training and the development of ideas.

But when you look beyond the different titles, programmes and professional responsibilities, you will find one connecting thread:

I care deeply about people, their potential, the systems that shape their lives and the possibilities of a better world.

I believe people deserve the opportunity to heal, grow and flourish.

I believe leaders should be equipped to lead with clarity, courage and compassion.

I believe organisations should be effective without losing sight of the people who make them work.

I believe humanitarian work should go beyond meeting immediate needs to building dignity, resilience and opportunity.

And I believe healthier communities and stronger societies are things we must intentionally build.

This is the thinking behind the seven areas of my work.

Through A-Adams Primo Limited, I provide professional services, strategic support, coaching, training and development solutions.

Through Siddiqah Foundation, I contribute to humanitarian action, community development and initiatives that improve lives.

Different responsibilities. Different approaches. One underlying commitment.

HELPING PEOPLE FLOURISH. HELPING ORGANISATIONS THRIVE. HELPING COMMUNITIES PROSPER.

I am looking forward to connecting with individuals, leaders, organisations, development partners, institutions and people who share this commitment.

Now, having seen the seven areas, which one resonates most with you?

Let's talk.

WHAT IF YOUR NEXT RAMADHAN COULD BE YOUR MOST TRANSFORMATIVE ONE YET?

Before the first fast, prepare your heart. Before the first Taraweeh, prepare your soul. The early generations of Muslims understood that RAMADHAN deserved preparation. Yet many of us wait until the last few days to decide how we want to experience the most sacred month of the year.

Every year, we promise ourselves more Qur'an, better prayers, greater generosity, stronger discipline and a deeper connection with Allaah.

Then life happens.
We enter RAMADHAN distracted, exhausted and trying to build habits we could have started developing months earlier.

What if this time, we did things differently?
INTRODUCING ACTIVITY 01 OF 15
ROOTED BEFORE RAMADHAN
Prepare the soul. Transform the season.

As part of the 14th Siddiqah RAMADHAN Project 1448/2027, Siddiqah Foundation, in collaboration with Siddiqah DeenHub, presents the RAMADHAN MASTERPREP CLASS — a 12-week spiritual preparation and personal development journey.

Together, we will work across nine dimensions of whole-life preparation, including:
● Spiritual growth and a stronger relationship with Allaah.
● Tazkiyyah, purification of the heart and qalbun saleem.
● Qur'an, reflection and consistency in worship.
● Emotional and physical wellbeing.
●Mental clarity, focus and discipline.
● Relationships, forgiveness and character.
● Financial preparation, generosity and social responsibility.
● Sustainable habits that continue beyond RAMADHAN.

Our journey has three stages:
ROOT — Reconnect with what matters.
REBUILD — Work on what needs attention.
READY — Prepare intentionally for RAMADHAN.

You will receive live learning sessions, practical assignments, guided reflection, a workbook, class recordings and a personal RAMADHAN Readiness Blueprint.

Does preparation make a difference?
Previous participants shared:
“It became my best Ramadhan yet. I left more confident in my du‘ā.”
“Helped me finally make the most of the month.”

Imagine entering RAMADHAN with a clearer spiritual direction, a realistic worship plan and habits you have already begun practising.
Imagine beginning the month already in motion.

I AM LEARNING TO STOP HIDING BEHIND MY WORK. LET ME EXPLAIN. 💛

For a long time, I was more comfortable doing the work than talking about the work.

I could develop an idea, lead a project, facilitate a training, support someone through a difficult season, build a programme, work behind the scenes and celebrate other people's achievements.

But when it came to putting myself out there, talking about my strengths, sharing my accomplishments and deliberately making myself visible?

Hmm. That's another conversation. 😂

Perhaps it was humility. Perhaps it was habit. Perhaps I simply believed that if the work was good enough, people would eventually find out.

But I am learning something important:

Being good at what you do and allowing people to know that you are good at what you do are two different things.

You can have years of experience and still be invisible to the very people who need your expertise.

You can have valuable ideas and never give them the platform they deserve.

You can be doing meaningful work and still struggle to communicate its value.

And you can spend so much time helping other people find their voices that you forget to use yours.

I am changing that.

I am learning to speak more confidently about my work, share what I know, celebrate the things I have built, document the lessons I have learnt and allow people to see more of the person behind the work.

Not because I have everything figured out.

Not because I am trying to impress anybody.

But because visibility creates opportunities for connection, collaboration, learning and impact.

And I have come to realise that hiding your gifts does not make them more valuable. It only makes them harder to find.

So, yes, you will be seeing more of me around here. My work, my ideas, my lessons, my experiences, my occasional random thoughts and, of course, my very Nigerian sense of humour. 😂

I am giving myself permission to occupy space, communicate value and enjoy the journey.

Your turn:

Have you ever found it easier to do the work than to talk about yourself and your achievements?

Are you also learning to become more visible?

Let's talk. ❤️

YOU DON'T HAVE TO START A FOUNDATION TO CHANGE A LIFE.

I was barely a teenager when I started dreaming of establishing a foundation that would transform lives and extend kindness to vulnerable communities.

Growing up with parents who embraced philanthropy taught me that giving back is not just something we do when we have excess. It is a responsibility we all share.

But I had one misconception: I thought you needed money to make an impact.

That changed when I worked with an NGO in its early stages. I discovered that you could start with an idea, your time, your skills, your network and a genuine willingness to serve.

That lesson became part of the journey that led to the establishment of Siddiqah Foundation in September 2012.

Today, after years of humanitarian work, one thing remains clear:

You don't need millions to make a difference.
You don't need to own an NGO to be a humanitarian.
You don't need to share someone's faith to care about their wellbeing.

Sometimes, you just need to start.

As we prepare for our 14th RAMADHAN Project 1448/2027 and our wider humanitarian programmes, we invite you to be part of the work.

You can contribute in five ways:

❤️ VOLUNTEER – Give your time and skills.
🤝 PARTNER – Collaborate with us.
🌍 SUPPORT – Give financially or in kind.
📢 AMPLIFY – Use your voice and network.
💡 LEARN – Discover how you can get involved.

I started with a dream as a young girl. Today, I hope someone reading this finds the courage to act on theirs.

THERE IS A PLACE FOR YOU IN THIS WORK.

How would you like to contribute to making the world a better place?

Tell us in the comments. ❤️

With love and hope,

Dr. Aishah Adams

TODAY IS FOR LOUDING MY STRENGTHS. LET ME SELL MYSELF A LITTLE. 😂🔥

Sometimes, I wake up and wonder: How can one person be this talented, this experienced, this full of ideas and still be this broke? 😭😂

Then I remember: nobody is coming to sell me to the world if I am not willing to make myself visible.

I recently heard Gary Vaynerchuk talk about the sheer volume of content he puts out daily, yet he believes he has barely scratched the surface of visibility.

THOUSANDS of content pieces!

And here some of us will make one LinkedIn post, disappear for three weeks, play humble and wonder why clients aren't knocking. 😂

I have been guilty of this too.
But I am learning that there is a difference between arrogance and communicating your value. There is a difference between showing off and showing up.

People cannot engage you for work they don't know you can do. They cannot recommend you for opportunities they don't know you are qualified for.

So, I am changing that.
I wear quite a number of hats, and it is time to talk about them!

Through A-Adams Primo Limited, I work across strategy and organisational development, leadership and executive development, human development, trauma-informed practice, workforce wellbeing, consulting, training, facilitation, public speaking, moderation, nonprofit development, fundraising readiness and publishing.

Through Siddiqah, I lead humanitarian, community development and social impact initiatives that translate compassion into practical action.

I also love building ideas, programmes and learning experiences. Give me an idea, a challenge or a problem, and I will probably start connecting dots, asking questions and imagining possibilities. 😂

I AM A PROBLEM SOLVER.
As my Naija people would say, idea na water for here!

I enjoy helping people flourish, strengthening organisations and building communities where people can thrive.

And I promise you, I am really good at what I do.
So, consider this my official notice:
I am open to consulting engagements, strategic partnerships, speaking invitations, MC and moderation opportunities, training, facilitation and social impact collaborations, locally and internationally by @aishah_adams

One of my best birthday gifts came with lessons worth sharing! 🎁💚

My big sis, Dr @aishah_adams , gifted me a FREE slot to her intensive masterclass on Idea to Funding and How to Write a Compelling Grant.

And that’s how I spent day two of my birthday: learning how to turn ideas into fundable projects!

You know I got you, so here are my key takeaways.

💡 Idea to Funding — Dr Aishah

1. Passion cannot be funded; your idea must solve a real problem.
2. A brilliant proposal cannot rescue a poorly designed project.
3.It should be targeted to a specific audience-show numbers, age bracket and location

📝 Grant Writing — Malan Mahmood

4. Align your proposal with the funder’s objectives.
5. Organisational readiness goes beyond registration; sound financial systems and monitoring matter.
6. Tell a compelling, human centred story that shows the impact you want to create.

My biggest takeaway?

A worthy cause does not automatically become fundable!

A big thank you to Dr Aishah for this thoughtful birthday gift and to Malan Mahmood for sharing these valuable lessons. The sessions were insightful, the environment was conducive, and we were all well fed! 😂💚

And here’s my advice for you: Build genuine relationships! Your next opportunity might come through a relationship you nurture today. Never underestimate the power of your network.

Keep showing up. Keep putting in the work. I am rooting for you. 💚

WHAT IF ONE BUSINESS MISTAKE COULD WIPE OUT EVERYTHING YOU HAVE WORKED FOR? WOULD YOU DESERVE TO LOSE IT ALL? 💔

Imagine working tirelessly to build a business. Putting your money, time, hope and energy into something you believe will provide a better future. Imagine carrying responsibilities that leave you with little room for error.

Then, in one painful turn of events, your goods are lost in transit.

Your business is in trouble. Your finances are stretched. The future you were working towards suddenly feels uncertain.

And before anyone asks how they can help, the questions begin.

“How could she have allowed this to happen?”

“Was she careless?”

“Didn't she do her due diligence?”

Perhaps there are lessons to learn. Perhaps there are things she would do differently if given another chance.

But must a mistake become a sentence to financial ruin? Must a woman's business die because one chapter went wrong?

Some people are operating on reserve energy. They are exhausted, carrying responsibilities they cannot abandon, and trying to survive without a safety net. They cannot always afford the luxury of starting over.

Do you know what it means to be so tired that you have almost nothing left to give, yet life keeps demanding more from you?

For some, a financial loss is an inconvenience. For others, it threatens their livelihood, their stability and their ability to provide for their families.

This is not about pretending mistakes do not matter. Due diligence matters. Accountability matters. Learning matters.

But accountability and compassion can coexist.
We can learn from what happened without humiliating the person who experienced it. We can acknowledge a mistake without deciding that the person who made it no longer deserves a chance to recover.

Her business does not have to crumble because this chapter went wrong.

This is why Siddiqah Foundation is asking you to help a sister rise again. Our target is ₦3,500,000. So far, we have raised ₦201,000, leaving ₦3,299,000 to go.

BRIDGES OF IMPACT SUMMIT 2026: SOMETIMES, THE WORK YOU’RE CALLED TO DO BEGINS WITH WHAT YOU ONCE NEEDED. 💚

For a while, I’ve wanted to pour into younger people navigating life after university. Because let’s be honest, figuring out adulthood, career, purpose and money is a whole experience! 😂 I wish I’d had more guidance through that season myself.

So, when my sister, Sr. Tope Fajingbesi, shared the opportunity to be part of Bridges of Impact Summit 2026 by The She-EO, I knew I wanted in. And I’m glad I showed up!

I had the privilege of moderating the Empire Builders panel featuring Mr Wasiu Balogun, Dr Aday E. Adetosoye and Mr Yomi Adeyemi, CFA. I left with so much to reflect on.

Three lessons stayed with me:

Don’t despise small beginnings. Your starting point doesn’t have to determine your destination. Keep working, hold on to your vision and be willing to begin again.

Believe in yourself. Mr Patrick Okigbo reminded us that resources matter, but so does the hunger to learn, adapt and do the work.

Be humble enough to be an apprentice. Don’t become so obsessed with titles and packaging that you stop learning. Stay teachable!

One message from TFAJ also stayed with me: Know your purpose, and know who you have been called to serve.

Perhaps that’s why this summit meant so much to me. It reminded me that we don’t need to have the entire platform figured out before we begin. Sometimes, we simply need to show up and contribute where we can.

I also met amazing people, including Aisha Sani Abubakar, PMP, who added her own special colour to the experience. From career workshops and inspiring conversations to ₦1 million grants awarded to four entrepreneurs, the summit created meaningful opportunities for growth.

Thank you, Sr. Tope Fajingbesi and the entire She-EO team, for creating this space and trusting me to contribute. 💚

To anyone finding their feet after university, building a career or pursuing a dream: start where you are, stay teachable and don’t give up on yourself. You don’t have to know every step. Just take the next one.
