I write about magic that comes at a cost & absurd misadventures || rep: @helleborelit

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Of Blood & Stone is a standalone romantic fantasy with a magic system centered on women’s pain, inspired by the strict gender binary system required for a patriarchal society to “thrive”.

We follow the story of our mage priestess, Sylzenya, as she discovers the insidiousness of her kingdom’s expectations of her, how she breaks free to reclaim her autonomy, and ultimately harness her power ✨. GETS ME PUMPED JUST THINKING ABOUT IT!!!

OBAS is also a love story with an MMC with Flynn Rider vibes who pushes our heroine to become all she was meant to be. COME ON NOW ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 (oh and there’s some spiceee)

Find it on KU and wherever you get your books! OBAS is 450 pages of magic, mystery, monsters, & romance. AVAILABLE NOOOWW ‼️‼️

Things I want to see more of in FANTASY BOOKS ✨⚔️

Give me a COST whenever the main character uses magic. I want the choice to feel DESPERATE.

I want love interests who fail to see eye-to-eye, but through their perilous adventure, they realize how much they understand one another 😩🙌🏼

GIVE ME BEAUTIFUL AND UNSETTLING. A pretty kingdom where things just don’t feel *quite* right

Give me a sassy man. A snarky boi. SARCASM TO THE MAX and COMPETENCE THROUGH THE ROOF. Han Solo x Flynn Rider = MY DREAM MAN

I want a woman with POWER, AMBITION, and PURPOSE. And I want to see how her pursuits as a chosen one are ladened with not just successes, but FAILURES.

PLEASE NO MORE “I just want to be powerful” villains, PLEASE. I want complexity, a villain who’s twisted with a clear goal. And I want them to make our characters WORK and SUFFER to defeat them.

You know that utopian kingdom? Have it bordered by a DEADLY AF FOREST. No one gets in or out alive. And put the main characters in it for the love of GOD.

GIMME THE SPICE AND MAKE IT PURPOSEFUL. I want to have all my problems healed by living vicariously through these suffering and tender souls.

OH WAIT SO I ACTUALLY WROTE IT?! Of Blood & Stone is available on KU and wherever you get your booooksss!! (And it’s a standalone with a spin-off on the way?!)

“No quote could make me read a book—“ WELP, I’VE FALLEN PREY TO THEM BEFORE ✨🍃🩸

Give me YEARNING. Give me SIMPY. Give me the moment where the reluctant allies question EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF THEIR EXISTENCE BECAUSE NOW THEY NOTICED EACH OTHER’S SMILE LINES.

If you’re into standalone romantic fantasy stories where the priestess uses a divine magic that comes at a cost, a snarky & sassy thief with a hidden identity, and a cult kingdom that’s full of secrets, then Of Blood & Stone has got you covered!

✨Reluctant Allies-to-Lovers

Have you ever thought “I love romantasy but my GOD, can I read one that isn’t so d*mn serious???”

Then A F*ckery of Fae & Fate is about to itch that little spot on your back you can’t reach but you need someone to get it because OH MY GOD WHY IS IT SO ITCHY—

Ok. You get it.

A F*ckery of Fae & Fate is a 100 page comedic romantasy novella that completely lampoooons the romantasy genre (in the BEST of ways) so you can relax, accidentally snort your PSL out of your nose, and go on a queer and wacky-a** adventure with Rhema and her dragon Benny 🐉

Help them save a bratty princess from a trickster fae prince so they can make it to the Butter and Barmaids Festival!!!

Other Tropes:
💖Sapphic Romance
💖Shrek x Donkey duo
💖Comedic Absurdity
💖One Bed
💖F*ck It
💖Dagger to Throat
💖DID I MENTION IT’S FUNNY??????

Available on KU, audiobook, and wherever you snatch your bookiessss!!!
