Over the last year and a half I lost 40 Ibs.
But there’s a part of that journey I didn’t expect.
At one point my weight was dropping faster than my body liked.
Pair that with Hashimoto’s... and my thyroid pushed back.
I started losing hair in handfuls.
I went from hardly shedding at all to watching my hair thin in real time.
I cut it.
Then cut it again.
It was humbling.
Because health isn’t just about weight.
It’s about hormones.
It’s about nourishment.
It’s about not pushing your body past its limits.
When I slowed down...
When I focused on supporting my thyroid...

The living room tour is the most affordable option on the schedule 💀😂

I wanted to take them to the upcoming #worldscollidetour but I cannot bring myself to pay the prices for the good seats and I can’t make my babies 1st concert experience be in the nosebleeds. 😩

Found this gem from Dinosaur World, and I had to use it.

You being goofy with your sisters being ridiculous. 😂 These are the pictures I love the most.

We’ve started doing this before bed and I’m kind of loving our little chaotic routine. Even on nights when my back is flaring, I can usually modify things and join them for a few minutes.

It’s not pretty. It’s not peaceful. But we’re together. ❤️

Some pictures just take you right back. This one is one of those for me.

I don’t know if hobo stew is actually a widely used name, but it’s what we’ve always called it—and it’s one of my son’s favorite meals.

I realized recently that this is my last year of him being home and constantly requesting his favorite meals.

So I’m going to oblige a little more than usual. ❤️

Because as much as I’m excited for him to take his next step in life, I already know I’m going to miss these little requests.

I’ll make the hobo stew, buddy. Ask away. 🥹

This kid has been my best travel buddy for as long as I can remember. ❤️ We started traveling together when he was just 5 weeks old, and somehow this picture was taken when he was only 3, almost 4.

So many miles, so many adventures, and SO many memories later… he’s still one of my favorite people to explore the world with. 🥹
