Everything I do, I do for the sake of Allah SWT.

May every effort, every hardship, and every sacrifice be accepted by Him.
“Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.” (Quran 6:162)

Alhamdulilah for everything.

It’s been a tough week for us, losing both EJ and Teddy. But here’s some good news and a little something to cheer us up!

Our latest rescue cat, Sacha, is getting better after undergoing leg surgery and amputation two weeks ago. Despite having only three legs, he’s already learning to walk and get around so well! Alhamdulilah.

I bought him a catnip toy, and he absolutely LOVES it! Seeing him so happy brings so much joy to my heart.

Sacha is such a social, friendly and happy cat at home. All our other rescue cats love him, and they’re always playing together.

After all the sadness and heartbreak we’ve been through this week, seeing Sacha recover, play and enjoy his life reminds me why we keep going.

Every life we save matters. Every little recovery is a victory. And every happy moment makes all the struggles worthwhile.

Rest in Love, Teddy.

You came into our lives as a rescue, but you left paw prints on our hearts that will last forever. You were never just a rescue dog. You were our family, our happiness, and our beloved Teddy. Rest in love, our boy. Until we meet again, InshaAllah.

Please pray for Cheeko : our one-eyed rescue cat with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).

We have just lost EJ to CKD, and now Cheeko is also fighting for his life against the same devastating disease.

My heart is broken, but I’m still holding on to hope. Please keep Cheeko in your prayers and ask Allah to ease his suffering, give him strength, and grant him healing.

If you would like to help with Cheeko’s medical bills and recovery, any contribution would mean so much to us. To donate or help, please DM me or WhatsApp me at +60109317869.

Every little bit helps us continue fighting for Cheeko. Thank you for your prayers, kindness, and support.

Innalilahi waina ilahi rojiun.

EJ was our first ever cat. She came to us just over 10 years ago in a rain storm. When we went to open up our Borneo Tribal Squad Gym to get ready for classes, she was a little lost, crying kitten. We looked all over to reunite her with her mom, with no luck, so she joined us at first in the gym, sitting by the kick bags watching Muay Thai classes never scared of the noise and commotion, sleeping through jiu jitsu and enjoying the cuddles from students.

When we took her home, she would jump up by the TV when we watched MMA to watch it as well. We named her EJ after us (Emily Jumat). She was a loner yet our young rescue kittens always seemed drawn to her. She's been with us through multiple moves and changes, watching our Pyro family grow.

EJ had been battling health problems for the past few months, and yesterday, 6 October 2026, she finally left us. 💔

I am devastated. There are simply no words that can truly describe the pain I feel right now.

EJ was more than just a rescue cat. She was our baby girl, a part of our family, and the big sister to all the other rescue cats and dogs at home.

She was loved, cared for, and cherished every single day. Losing her leaves a huge emptiness in our home and in our hearts.

Thank you for 10 beautiful years with us, EJ. You will always be our little girl. Until we meet again.

EJ Pyro July 2016 - October 2026. My love.

My rental house is already crowded with 26 rescue cats and 7 rescue dogs, most of them special needs. On top of that, I feed and care for around 30 stray animals on the streets.

I am not an animal NGO. I am not funded or supported by any animal NGO or corporation. I don’t have a shelter — my own rental house has simply become one because I have nowhere else for these animals to go.

And just like you, I have a regular job, responsibilities and a life to manage. Yet I continue doing whatever I can for these animals because I cannot simply turn my back on them.

So if you feel that I am not doing enough, or you think I should be doing more, that’s your right to say. But please, back up those words with real help.

Be here physically and help me care for them. Help with feeding, cleaning, transporting and nursing them. Help pay their medical bills. Send food, medication and supplies. Donate whatever you can.

Because when you are not here to see the reality, it is easy to say, “You should do more.”

But when you are actually here — surrounded by sick, injured, abandoned and hungry animals — you will understand how difficult this really is.

I don’t need more criticism. I need people who are willing to stand beside me and help.

If you truly care about these animals, please turn your words into action.

RUGBY AT 52!

Tawau 10s Rugby 2026 – Veteran Champions!

Alhamdulilah. At 52, I’m still running, tackling, competing and doing what I love.

It was a huge honour to captain Bunga Raya Old Boys (BROB) — a team made up of former national rugby players. To stand alongside these incredible brothers and lead the team onto the field is something I will always be grateful for.

A heartfelt thank you to my teammates and management for your trust, support and belief. Every match reminded me that age is just a number when the heart still has passion and the spirit refuses to give up.

Thank you to Tawau Rugby for the great tournament, and to our opponents — TOBY, OSCA Legends and Keningau Old Boys — for the tough battles, respect and wonderful sportsmanship.

It was only a short weekend in Tawau, but I made sure to make it meaningful. I also managed to feed several stray dogs and cats.

Rugby keeps my body moving. Brotherhood keeps my spirit strong. And helping the voiceless keeps my heart grounded.

At 52, I’m not trying to prove that I’m young.

I’m simply grateful that I’m still able to play, serve and make a difference.

Alhamdulilah for every opportunity, every challenge and every day.

You only get old when you stop playing.

#FMTLifestyle Long before Jumat Lias Mansor’s truck comes to a stop, the animals already know he has arrived. At each feeding spot, stray dogs wag their tails while cats gather nearby to greet the man they have learnt to trust.

For Jumat, better known as AJ “Pyro” Lias Mansor, their welcome makes every feeding round worthwhile. “They remember and appreciate you. They cannot talk, but you can feel it,” he said.

With his muscular build, the 52-year-old looks every much the formidable mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter he once was. But beneath that tough exterior lies a gentle heart.

His sporting career has spanned several disciplines. A former Malaysian national rugby player and silat athlete, he is also a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt with experience in wrestling and Muay Thai.
