A lesson to share for Greek Independence Day!

On my Substack, you will find a kid-friendly history lesson about Greek Independence Day along with a Story Spark for kids to inspire them to write their own story of bravery.

This is a powerful story of courage, bravery, and standing up for Freedom.

A long time ago, the people of Greece made a brave choice. Even though they were scared….Even though it was hard... They chose to fight for freedom.

Their message was simple:
✨Freedom or Death ✨

It all started with a moment. A flag raised high. A crowd gathering. The feeling that everything was about to change.

Remember, sometimes the bravest story start with one small choice.

🐉✨ Story Time with Author A.K. Karos! ✨📚

Join me for a magical Story Time at The Quirky Crow Bookshop!

📅 Monday, March 16

Bring your little readers for a fun morning of storytelling as I read my children’s book The Brave Coin—a heartwarming story about courage, imagination, and finding the bravery inside all of us. 🐉⭐️

We’ll share the story, talk about bravery, and spark a love of reading together. It’s the perfect outing for young readers and their families!

📍 The Quirky Crow Bookshop
San Ramon, California

I’d love to see you there! Come say hello, enjoy the story, and maybe even take home a signed book. ✨

❓Can you name the movie from the song in the post? (it’s my all time favorite!)
