If you can’t tell I love stories about Ancient Egypt, which is why I’m working on two different books with Egyptian fantasy! My first one is an adult novel that I’m currently editing, but in the mean time, enjoy some of these amazing books!

I absolutely love @michellejcorpora books! Her series in Khetara kept me up at night, and I am anxiously awaiting for the third book in her trilogy! Get them now!

The Reluctant God was one of my all time favs that I read back in 6th grade, and it’s one I revisit often. Currently, I’m reading the Ramses book as he was a fascinating ruler, but I’m always on the lookout for more great stories like these.

Comment with any of your favorites so I can add them to my TBR list ☀️

OK this is cool! My son’s all time favorite movie is SPACEBALLS to the point that he made it a tradition to watch it on his birthday every year with his friends. He’s counting down the days to Spaceballs 2!

He made this coaster in his MS tech class using a laser engraver. I love the passion he has for learning something new and so happy that he was able to take a class that fuels his love for learning. We need more classes like this!

Something a lot of people don’t know is that I have been working on a novel and recently entered the first 5,000 words into ProWritingAid’s Novel Beginning Contest.

I’m excited to announce that of the nearly 15,000 entrants, a panel of writing judges selected my book to make the first cut, making me one of 183 writers to make the Long List!

I am in the top 1%!

I was absolutely floored when I got the news, and it is so incredibly validating to know these judges thought my story and writing was good enough.

The book is an Ancient Egyptian historical fantasy with time travel elements. The first draft of the book is written and I am deep into edits currently. I cannot wait to start querying my book and hopefully share it with the world sooner rather than later, because I will definitely share it!

It is an absolute honor to be a part of this list and I know that I am on the right path after receiving this honor! More to come and stay tuned!!!

Honored to join Bishop Demetrios of Mokissos in this incredible discussion of his book GRACE UNBOUND: The Sacred Activism of an Orthodox Priest. The stories and writing are incredible and it offers a powerful message of courage and advocacy, especially in our turbulent world.

Please join us for the next stop in his book tour at the Nativity of Christ Greek Orthodox Church in Novato, this Thursday May 14th at 6pm. This is a discussion and meet and greet you truly do not want to miss!

I HIGHLY recommend adding this book to your TBR list. It is a true inspiration and a fantastic way to reflect on our own lives and decisionsz by @annakags

Love how my boys are throwbacks making their Halloween Costumes. Youngest did a real throwback with #DarkwingDuck (yes he’s watched all the episodes) and the oldest loves anything @adamsandler so he and his buddies did an ode to the Sandman!

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! 🎃 by @annakags

First day of school means new #DeanandLukeLunchNotes for the new school year! Lucas loves The InvestiGator Books, and Dean as a middle schooler can’t help but bust up laughing at the Simpsons!

So darn proud of these boys!!! Another successful FDF…and we brought home some great hardware!

Dean took home an instrumental award for playing the Daouli (drum) in his group’s first performance, and won a Founder’s award.

While Lucas’ group won silver in their first year competition! So proud! Swipe to see the moment they got their awards. It’s priceless! And yes…I’m hella cheesin!
