This is the Australian debut of the Soho Theatre Verity Bargate Award-Winning and newly Olivier Award winning show! I am very excited and beyond proud of this beautiful, touching and raw piece of work.

Working with this incredibly talented and lovely ensemble has been one of the highlights of my life and I cannot wait for audiences to see what we’ve been cooking!

‘Kindness’ by Matthew Whittet

I’m so genuinely grateful to have worked on this beautiful play with this team of absolute legends! Massive thank you to our incredible director and leader @simonporro , for imbuing this production with all the heart in the world, cheers Patrick⭐️ And to the whole prod team who worked incredibly hard and fed us with love- I am extremely grateful to you all❤️
It was an immense privilege to portray a character like Oli, and to face all the challenges that came with it!
Thank you @mattwhittet for writing such a personal and compelling play- I am forever in debt. ✨

This play reminded me to check up on my loved ones. You are loved, you are cared for, you are important & this world is certainly a much better place with you in it. If that is ever in question to you, I am always here to talk to❤️Please talk.

Boys on the Verge of Tears, by Sam Grabiner

Working on this compelling and touching play with this spectacular ensemble was truly a gift. I’m very proud of this piece and the message we got to deliver to audiences. This play delivers on the hope, the truth and the crushing reality of the suppressed lives of men. This wouldn’t be possible without the incredibly hard work from the whole team over these past couple of months! I had an absolute blast working on this play with my four boyz, you’re forever in my hearts❤️ You must let the world in! taken in fortyfivedownstairs by @akeelpurmanund

🩸AKEEL🩸

Introducing @akeelpurmanund who couldn’t wait to finish studying to land himself a meaty role that shows off his commanding presence. You’ll see this on display in his upcoming titular role in Othello (MUSC), and previously at @jmcacademy as Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing and Melchior in Spring Awakening.

This isn’t your typical play... Akeel will get your blood pumping, starring as Ali, Owen & Jo.

Much Ado About Nothing!

What an absolute joy it was to put on this iconic Shakespeare play! It was truly a privilege to tell this wonderful story with such talented people. Playing Benedick was the most fun I’ve ever had and one of the more beautiful character journeys to experience. Special thanks to our incredible Director @markryeates for leading us throughout this entire journey and our Stage Manager @dionzapantis for being an immense support, also to our Producers @benjaminasamuel and @jakscanlon and our Costume Designer @jessaminemoffett
