Most online trainings hand you a playlist or a video library. This is the same training we teach in our studio in Brussels, now live online for the first time, wherever in the world you are. Eight Wednesday evenings, small enough that we can hear your bowl and tell you what to change.

Shannon is a leading Sound Healer, meditation and yoga teacher. Based in Brussels, she founded the capital of Europe’s first Crystal Tones sound studio — offering alchemy bowl consultations, private sessions, and immersive trainings in harmonic resonance and somatic healing.

Next April, Shannon van Staden and Lama Brian of @aki.soundstudio based in Brussels, Belgium, are coming to Light House to teach their Level 1 Sound Healing Training.

It’s only the second time they’ve offered it outside Europe, and we’re so happy it’s returning.

“I didn’t expect it to be this deep or to realize it could stand completely on its own as a healing practice. Not an add-on to yoga. Its own business, if you want it to be.”

That’s our student, Kylie, talking about what surprised her most in Level 1. She came in curious. She left seeing a path she hadn’t expected, one where she could layer in the expertise she already had, and bring sound work into client sessions where it’s needed most, especially with burnout.

What stayed with her most, though, wasn’t the technique. It was the reminder of how much we all need to drop into softness right now, into the heart, not just the head.

Our Level 1 training goes live online for the first time in two weeks: eight Wednesday evenings, starting October 28. No experience needed, wherever you are.

Shannon’s been back five days now, and the week in Salt Lake City is still settling in.

The showroom, the quiet drive out to the desert, a sound bath for world peace, and bowls chosen one by one upon special request and to bring home to Brussels. Not a single part of it felt like a typical work trip.

Today brings the new moon in Libra; the sign of balance, relationship, and harmony. It’s a quiet moon, less about what you want and more about what feels in true balance with you: where you’ve been over-giving, where you’ve kept the peace at your own expense, and what it might look like to choose harmony without losing yourself in it.

We won’t be hosting our new moon ceremony this October, but we’ll be back together on 10 November. 🤍

Somatic Breathwork & Sound with Islay.

Sixty minutes to breathe and be carried. Guided somatic breathwork moves what the body has been holding, and the Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls® settle you back into stillness.

Islay is a Mind-Body Therapist and Somatic Energetics practitioner working at the intersection of nervous system regulation, emotional release, and vibrational therapy. She believes that when the nervous system feels safe, the body naturally knows how to heal — and guides people out of survival mode and back into the vitality of the heart.

Mondays, 19:00–20:00. 16 places, taught in French and English. No experience needed.

Yin & Sound with Alexandra.

An evening to slow all the way down. Long, quiet yin postures soften the body, and the Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls® carry the mind to stillness.

Alexandra found yoga through her mother twenty years ago, trained in hatha yoga, then deepened into yin and sound healing in India before training in crystal bowls here at AKI with Shannon van Staden and Lama Brian Hilliard.

Our 2027 training calendar is live.

Four Level 1 weekends for those beginning, and three Level 2 weekends for those ready to go deeper, all at our Brussels studio.
