BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! 🚨 This year's Colive Fukuoka festival is our LAST one at this scale and we wanted you to hear it from us first. Since 2023, hundreds of you have shown up every October, and this place is what it is because you kept coming back. We're full of gratitude. At the same time, we've been feeling something for a while, How much more there is we haven't explored yet. We want to build deeper connections between local industries, craftspeople, and global founders, and one big festival a year just isn't enough to get us there. That's exactly why, starting next year, we're moving from one big annual festival to year-round community events and small retreats of 20–30 people. So those connections can go deeper. Before that, though one LAST festival, and we want it to be our best. Come be part of both our finale and what's next, together, in Fukuoka this year. 💬 Share your favorite Colive Fukuoka memory as a photo in the comments or if this is your first year, tell us what you're most excited about.📸 ⁡ #colivefukuoka #digitalnomad #fukuoka #internationalcommunity #breakingnews by @akinaself

@colivefukuoka through Akina’s eyes. It started in 2023 with fewer than 50 nomads from 23 countries. Every time I traveled and said I was from Japan, people told me — “Japan has always been my number one dream destination!” A coliving experience in Spain and Portugal on my third time around the world gave me an idea: what if I brought this kind of community to Japan? Not just for the nomads who’d always wanted to come but for people in Japan to see that there are so many ways to live a life. In 2025, Colive Fukuoka welcomed nearly 500 people from 55 countries, won Best Global Nomad Fest, and grew beyond anything I imagined. Year three’s theme became “A Reason to Be”, a short film I wanted to preserve beyond the moment. Every single “arigato” from a participant reminds me why this exists. “Japan has been on my list forever.” “I already want to come back to Japan.” “I’d love to make friends I’ll have for life.” That’s what this is for. For year four, we’re going deeper. Experiences only Japan can offer, and doors open not just to digital nomads but to global talents. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to finally come to Japan 🇯🇵 this is it 🥰 🗓 October 2026 · Fukuoka, Japan 🔗 Link https://www.colivefukuoka.com/ 🎟 Use code AKINA for €25 off by @akinaself
