Whelp, today was the day. A big piece of my heart hit the road for a 2 year stint in San Diego! I know @kaileykennedyy is going to do great things there, but we are going to miss her (and Matt) so much. This particular arrangement brings me so much joy when I catch a glimpse of it. All grown from my community plot and my patio garden. Once again the dahlias are spent, but the colors are so pretty. It’s been a minute since I have been able to get to my community garden and cut my dahlias and other blooms. Most of these blooms are on their way out, but you can only tell if you get up close, but September is the month of dahlias, so stay tuned for more beauty. by @aks07

A bonus flower arrangement this weekend. I planted zinnia seeds in my Provincetown garden the first week of July and they are blooming in full force. I usually like to mix and match my flowers but these were too good all on their own. Check out the exhausted bumblebee on one the fresh picked blooms. He was gently returned to the garden. by @aks07

It’s Friday so you know what that means! More dahlias, cosmos and zinnias from the community garden. My dahlias are finally blooming in full force and I have a very generous friend who shares her zinnias, cosmos, and even a dahlia or 2 with me when she goes on vacation. Today’s Friday Flowers are a little Loosey Goosey, but all are Charlestown local. The zinnias and some of the cosmos came from a fellow gardener. The rest are from my gardens. I also tried a fun new vase from @mitscotty to put the rest of my zinnias in. Bertie approved the arrangement (without eating a single bloom) sending out beauty and love to brighten your weekend. by @aks07
