Sharing a few choice clips from the 94 minute edit/visualiser I’ve put together for @toshikiohta @fieldmaneuvers 2025 set in collab with @celestial_artillery / @iggyiggyb / David Pearce.

Any free evenings this summer I’ve spent working on this, been such a fun/silly project to work on. Know the mix itself inside out now and it only reaffirms how he’s really one of the best to be doing it right now. Was a long process making the track-list as it was hard to work out what tune was playing when.

With it being probs the longest runtime thing I’ve worked on combined with the limited time I had to work on it, from the outset had to approach it in a different way and be very loose in how it was all put together, which in the end feel really helps give it that diy/haphazard feel which suits both field maneuvers and the old rave videos that formed the inspiration behind the whole thing. To be honest though did end up getting quite granular with it and being pretty considered with the cuts/timing at the end.

Wanted it to feel like you’re there deep in it, going in and out from the Sony footage to the minidv stuff, with those incredible visuals from @celestial_artillery being overlayed and then fully taking over for long sections, just like the eyes closed moments in the dance 🙃

My latest voices show is dedicated to Thomas Lawless Pardhy.

To see the outpouring of love for him, and the effect he had on so many people across East London and beyond, is both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. This is true of all the best music we loved and shared with one another, and everything featured in this show. For me a lot of the songs signify growth and rebirth in the natural world, and I wanted to create a journey that speaks to that. The cover photo is our tomato plant that was potted and gifted to us at the pub, the day we found out he passed away.

I’ve not really experienced grief much in my life, and I want to thank our beautiful children for holding us through the pain and helping keep our feet grounded.

There’s no way around in this life, only through, and I’ll carry the wisdom and love he gifted us always. The world has lost a bright light, but his legacy shines on. Rest in peace Tom.

Music from @musictowatchseedsgrowby / @leifsounds / @12th.isle / @stroom.tv / @k_lone_ / Talk Talk / Terre Thaemlitz & more.

Hi!!

Was back on @voices_radio last Friday morning, link up top if you wanna listen back.

Had my brother in mind when recording this one as he was travelling up to my grandparents on the Isle of Lewis last week so it’s mostly tunes I thought he might like. I was meant to be going with him but life/work got in the way.

Dug through some old iPhone clips from my past trip up there way back in 2019, don’t have much recent supporting content that isn’t my children at the moment anyway.

The @will_memotone track is particularly special for me, one of those artists that seems to be there in special moments in life. Our daughter was 10 days ‘late’ and I listened to the LP that track is from during a hour on her first day on earth whilst Rosie was asleep and Joni lay on my chest. Grabbed my phone to check the name of track, couldn’t stop crying. Stumbled on the track by Spool titled ‘Joni’ a week or so later.

Magic, transcendental things happen with music and ripple through my days so I’m grateful to all the artists, and big thanks to any of you out there that listen xx taken in Isle of Lewis by @al.extrap

First bit of content from our weekend filming the Tree Stage @glastofest @woodsiesareaglasto

The stage is truly a special place on the site, and it was such a joy to do something you love in a place that means so much.

The programming on the stage across the weekend was incredible and we have a lot more material/content to share, but for now just want to thank @lilithpiperdrawings and the whole @woodsiesareaglasto crew for having us there to document it all.

This film is centered around the Sunday night with @cherub.sanson @tim.wheater_ @__mastery @maxcoopermax @danielmarkavery @wataigarashi @djhannahholland & features new music from
